Important Safety Instructions

Please read these IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS before using EA200(WIFI). You may avoid some issues during use of the product by doing so but following the instructions completely to operate the humidifier is not a must.

Before Using the Humidifier

  • Check the Power Cord for any signs of damage. If yes, please do not use the humidifier.

  • Please always place the humidifier on a smooth, flat, lint-free, non-metallic, waterproof, and level surface; avoid the direct sunlight.
  • Always place the humidifier ≥ 2 feet (60 cm) above the floor, and ≥ 12 inches (30 cm) away from the wall, other appliances, or wooden furniture.
  • DO NOT place the humidifier on a carpet, towel, or wood surface; otherwise, it will stove, block the vent and may damage the product.

When Using the Humidifier

  • DO NOT plug the power cord into an outlet with wet hands.
  • DO NOT plug the power cord into an outlet with wet hands.
  • DO NOT cover the Nozzle with your hand or any other objects when the humidifier is on to avoid damage to the product or injury.
  • DO NOT move or tilt the humidifier during operation.
  • DO NOT clean the humidifier when it is connected to a power source or when it is turned on.
  • The recommended comfortable environment humidity is between 40% – 60%. Please adjust the mist as needed

After Using the Humidifier

  • Always disconnect the power supply by unplugging it when the humidifier is not in use.
  • The humidifier requires regular cleaning. Please refer to the instructions mentioned in the section of Maintenance and Care.
  • DO NOT clean the humidifier immediately after turning it off. Allow the humidifier to cool down completely before cleaning.
  • DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical/mechanical functions of the humidifier by yourself.

Operating Guide

Add Water

  1.  Remove the Nozzle first, separate the Water Tank from the Base, turn the Water Tank upside down, loosen the Tank Cap, then fill the tank with clean cool water.Kyvol-EA200-Ultrasonic-Cool-Mist-Humidifier-FIG-19
  2.  Tighten the Tank Cap, put the Water Tank upright and back on the Base.

Important

  •  If the tap water is too hard, we recommend using the filtered or distilled water to avoid white dust. DO NOT use hot water.
  •  DO NOT add any essential oils or medicinal tablets into the Water Tank.
  •  DO NOT add water into the Base or through Nozzle.

Power ON / OFF and Mist Adjustment

  1.  Plug the Power Cord into a socket.
  2.  Rotate the Control Knob clockwise to ON/MIN to turn on the humidifier. The Water Indicator will turn solid green and the is at the minimum level.
  3.  Continue rotating the Control Knob clockwise from ON/MIN to MAX to Level steplessly increase the intensity of mist.
  4. Rotate the Control Knob counterclockwise from MAX to ON/MIN to reduce the intensity of mist.
  5.  Rotate the Control Knob counterclockwise to OFF to turn off the humidifier, and the Water Level Indicator will be off.

Low Water Protection
When there is not enough water in the Water Reservoir, the Water Level Indicator will turn red. The humidifier stops misting to prevent it from overheating and damaging the Atomizer

Operating Via Kyvol App

This operation is available for AF600 (with Wi-Fi) ONLY.

App Downloading and Installation
Option 1:
Search for Kyvol from App StoreTM,/Google PIayTM ,then download and install it on your mobile device.
Note:
Google PlayTM is a trademark of Google Inc., and App StoreTM is a trademark of Apple Inc.
Option 2:
Scan the QR codes below to download and install.

App Registration and Login
Launch Kyvol APP, register an account with your mobile phone number or a valid email address at your first use, then log in.
Note:
For a successful connection, please allow Kyvol APP to use your WLAN & Cellular Data when running it.

Connection Mode

Important
For the humidifier:
Make sure the humidifier has been plugged into a socket.

For Wi-Fi network:

  1.  Before connecting, please turn on location service/GPS on your phone and grant all the permissions required by Kyvol App.
  2.  Make sure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
  3.  Make sure you’ve entered the correct Wi-Fi name and password when connecting.
  4.  Make sure the humidifier, your mobile phone and your router are close enough when connecting.

Bluetooth Mode

  •  Connect the power cord of the humidifier to a socket.

  •  Launch Kyvol App, and tap Add Device.

  •  Tap Humidifier, then select the model.

  •  Tap Next on the Bluetooth Mode page.

  •  Turn on the Bluetooth and Location access on your mobile device

  •  Quickly rotate the Control Knob from OFF to ON, then from ON to OFF three times. The WiFi Status
    Indicator will keep flashing red, which means the humidifier is ready for network connection.

  •  Tap Search.

  •  Select the device model and tap Connect.

  •  Select WiFi and enter the correct password; tap Confirm.

  •  Connecting.

  •  Connected. The WiFi Status Indicator will turn solid.

Wi-Fi Mode

  •  Connect the power cord of the humidifier to a socket.

  •  Launch Kyvol App, and tap Add Device.

  •  Tap Humidifier, then select the model.

  •  Turn on the Location access on your mobile device. Tap Wi-Fi Mode, then tap Next.

  •  Quickly rotate the Control Knob from OFF to ON, then from ON to OFF three times. The Wi-Fi Status
    indicator will keep flashing red, which means the humidifier is ready for network connection.

  •  Select Wi-Fi and enter the correct password; tap Confirm.

  •  Connecting.

  •  Connected. The Wi-Fi Status Indicator will turn solid on.

Maintenance and Care

Important

  •  DO NOT submerge the Base in the water.
  •  Make sure the water does not enter the Base through the Air Outlet, Air Inlet or Control Knob.
  •  DO NOT wash any part of this humidifier in the dishwasher; otherwise, it will damage the humidifier.

Daily Maintenance

Step 1:
Turn off the humidifier and unplug the Power Cord from the socket.
Step 2:
Drain water from the Water Tank, Water Reservoir, and Base.

Weekly Maintenance

  1.  To property clean your humidifier, we recommend that you remove scale and disinfect the humidifier separately.
  2.  DO NOT mix vinegar and bleach solution together. To avoid damage to the humidifier, do not use more than 1 teaspoon of bleach per gallon of water.
  3. Please make sure the white sealing ring on the Tank Cap is installed correctly after cleaning to avoid water leakage.

Scale Removal Instructions
Step 1:
Turn off and unplug the humidifier.
Step 2:

  1.  Separate the Water Tank from the Base, then remove the Tank Cap. Make sure that the white Sealing ring does not come off.
  2.  Drain water from the Water Tank and Base, then remove all accessories and set aside.

Step 3:

  1.  Fill the Water Tank halfway.
  2.  Add in 1 teaspoon of undiluted distilled white vinegar.
  3.  Attach the Tank Cap and shake for 15 seconds.

Step 4:

  1.  Place the Water Tank back to the Base.
  2.  The vinegar solution will enter the Water Reservoir to loosen mineral scale on the Atomizer, Water Floater, and the bottom of the Water Tank. Leave it for 15-20minutes.

Step 5:

  1.  Uncap the Tank Cap and drain the solution.
  2.  Wipe the Atomizer and floater with a soft cloth to remove loose mineral deposits.

Step 6:
Flush both the Water Reservoir and Water Tank until the smell of vinegar ( for scale removal) or bleach solution (for disinfection, see below) is gone .Kyvol-EA200-Ultrasonic-Cool-Mist-Humidifier-FIG-26

Disinfection Instructions

Step 1:
Follow steps 1 to 2 in the previous section for scale removal.

Step 2:

  1.  Fill the Water Tank halfway.
  2.  Add ‘/2 teaspoon of bleach.
  3.  Attach the Tank Cap and shake for 15 seconds.
  4.  Place the Water Tank back to the Base. The bleach solution will enter and disinfect the Water Reservoir and the other components. Leave it for 15-20 minutes.

Step 3:
Follow steps 4 to 6 of the previous section for scale removal to complete the disinfection of the humidifier.

Dustproof Sponge Cleaning

Clean the Dustproof Sponge (located at the bottom of Base) with water or detergent once a month, then put it back in place after cleaning.Kyvol-EA200

End-Of-Season Care and Storage

  1.  Follow the cleaning instructions when the humidifier will not be used for at least one week, or at the end of the season. Remove all accessories used in the humidifier. Allow the humidifier and accessories to dry completely before storing it.
  2.  DO NOT store water in the Base, Water Reservoir or Water Tank.
  3.  Pack the humidifier safely and store it in a cool, dry place.
