USING THE FREEZER CORRECTLY
NAMES OF COMPONENTS
(The illustration above is only for reference. The actual configuration will depend on your particular product or statement by the distributor.)
-
The low temperature inside the freezer ensures that food stays fresh for a long time. It is mainly intended for storing frozen food and making ice. The most energy-efficient
position to place food is as shown in the illustration above. -
The freezer is suitable for storing meat, fish, shrimp, pastries, and other foods that will not be consumed in the short term.
-
Large cuts of meat should preferably be divided into smaller pieces for easy access.
Please note that food should be consumed within its recommended storage time.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
(The illustration above is only for reference. The actual configuration will
depend on your particular product or statement by the distributor.)
The markings on the control knob indicate the various temperature settings:
“MIN., NORMAL, MAX. and OFF”.
“MIN.” is the warmest setting.
“MAX.” is the coldest setting.
For normal use, please set the control knob to the “NORMAL” position.
Recommended setting: “NORMAL”
PLACEMENT
- Before using the freezer, remove all packaging materials including bottom cushions, foam pads, and tapes from inside the freezer, and tear off the protective film on the door and the freezer body.
- Keep away from heat and avoid direct sunlight. Do not place the freezer in a damp or wet place, to prevent rust or reduction of insulating effect.
- The freezer must be placed in a well-ventilated indoor space with a floor that is firm and level.
- The space above the freezer must be greater than 30 cm, and the freezer should be placed against a wall with a clearance of more than 10 cm to facilitate heat dissipation.
USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Before starting for the first time, let the freezer stand still for half an hour before connecting it to the power supply.
- Before adding any fresh or frozen food, leave the freezer to run for 2 to 3 hours, or more than 4 hours in summer when the ambient temperature is high.
ENERGY-SAVING TIPS
- The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing appliances or heating ducts, and out of direct sunlight.
- Let hot food cool to room temperature before placing it in the appliance. Overloading the appliance forces the compressor to run for longer. Food that freezes too slowly may lose quality or spoil.
- Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the appliance. This cuts down on frost build-up inside the appliance.
- Appliance storage containers should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper toweling. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient.
- Organize and label food to reduce the time that the door is left open. Remove all the items that you need at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.
LEVELLING FEET

(The illustration above is only for reference. The actual configuration will depend on your particular product or statement by the distributor.)
MAINTENANCE AND CARE OF FREEZER
CLEANING
- Dust should be removed regularly from behind and beneath the freezer to improve the cooling effect and save energy.
- Check the door gasket regularly to make sure there is no debris. Clean the door gasket with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent.
- The interior of the freezer should be cleaned regularly to avoid odor.
- Turn off the power before cleaning the interior, and remove all food, drinks, shelves, drawers, etc.
- Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean the inside of the freezer, using two tablespoons of baking soda in a liter of warm water. Then rinse with water and wipe clean. After cleaning, open the door and let the interior dry naturally before turning on the power.
- For areas that are difficult to clean inside the freezer (such as narrow channels, gaps, or corners), it is recommended that they are wiped regularly with a soft cloth, soft brush, etc., or if necessary, in combination with suitable tools (such as thin scrapers) to ensure no contaminants or bacterial accumulation in these areas.
- Do not use soap, detergent, abrasive powder, spray cleaner, etc., as these may cause odors in the interior of the freezer or contaminate the food.
- Clean the bottle frame, shelves, and drawers with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent. Dry with a soft cloth or dry naturally.
- Wipe the outer surface of the freezer with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water, detergent, etc., and then wipe dry.
- Do not use hard brushes, scourers, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpaste), organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline cleaners, which may damage the freezer surface and interior. Boiling water and organic solvents such as benzene may deform or damage plastic parts.
- Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids during cleaning to avoid short circuits or affecting electrical insulation after immersion.
**** Always unplug the freezer before defrosting and cleaning.
DEFROSTING
- The freezer must be manually defrosted.
Disconnect the plug from the wall socket, open the door, remove all the food, and put it somewhere cool.
It is recommended that the frost is removed using a plastic scraper, or let the temperature rise naturally until the frost melts. Then wipe away the remaining ice and water, insert the plug in the socket and turn on the freezer.
**** Do not use any mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting except those recommended by the manufacturer. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
WHEN NOT IN USE
Power failure: In the event of a power cut, food can be preserved for a
couple of hours, even in summer. It is recommended that the door is opened as
infrequently as possible and no more fresh food is placed in the freezer.
Long-term non-use: Unplug the freezer and clean it if it will be left
unused for a long time. Keep the door open to avoid bad odors from developing.
Moving: Do not turn the freezer upside down or subject it to vibration.
Do not tilt the freezer more than 45º. Do not lift the freezer by the door or
hinge when moving it.
**** It is recommended that the freezer is left to run continuously after it
is started. Try to avoid turning the freezer on and off during normal use, as
this can affect the service life of the freezer.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The following simple issues can be handled by the user. Please call the after-sales service department if issues are not rectified.
Appliance not working| Check whether the freezer is plugged in and connected
to power. The supply voltage may be too low.

The door is sometimes difficult to open| After refrigeration, there will
be a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the freezer that
makes it more difficult to open the door occasionally. This is normal.
The exterior of a freezer is hot or wet with condensation| The exterior
of the freezer may emit heat during operation, especially in summer; this is
caused by heat radiating from the condenser and is a normal phenomenon.
Condensation: condensation may appear on the exterior surface and door seals
of the freezer when the ambient humidity is high; this is normal, and the
condensation can be wiped away with a dry towel.
Buzzing or gurgling sounds| Refrigerants circulating in the refrigerant
lines will produce occasional gurgling sounds, which are normal and do not
affect the cooling performance.
The compressor can make a buzzing sound, especially when starting up or
shutting down.
The solenoid valve or electric switch valve will clatter, which is a normal
phenomenon and does not affect the operation.
