WHAT PELLETS TO USE?
Pellets are pressed wood cylinders, products from wooden sawdust and wood work
residues (shavings and wooden sawdust), generally produced by sawmills and
carpentry. The binding power of lignine, contained in the wood, makes it
possible to obtain a compact product without addition of additives and
chemicals foreign to wood: we therefore obtain a natural fuel at high yield.
The use of poor quality pellets or any other inappropriate material can damage
certain components of the stove and harm its proper functioning: this can lead
to the termination of the guarantee and the relative responsibility of the
manufacturer. Use pellets with a diameter of 6mm, type DIN Plus or EN Plus A1,
or equivalent, with a maximum moisture content of 8% and a maximum length of
30mm. Keep the pellets away from heat sources and not in a damp place or with
an explosive atmosphere.
LOADING THE PELLET TANK
Open the tank door Pour half the capacity of the tank and wait for the pellets
to be deposited at the bottom Complete the operation by pouring the second
half Before closing the door, make sure that there are no pellet residues
around the edges. If necessary, clean carefully.

CLEANING
Before carrying out any maintenance on the stove, take the following precautions:
- Ensure that all parts of the stove are cold;
- Ensure that the ashes are completely extinguished;
- Make sure the main switch is in position “0”;
- Disconnect the plug, thus avoiding any accidental contact;
Daily cleaning Turn the stove off by placing the switch on “0”
The scraper
makes it possible to take off the soot accumulated on the thermal exchange
pipes.
- Take out the scraper using the key supplied
- Operate the scraper several times.
Open the door and suck up the accumulated ashes.
Take the
brazier out of the stove.
Take out
the ashtray.
Lift the
flame protection to release it.
Pivot the
flame protection.

flame protection.
Vacuum all
the ashes in the brazier, the ashtray, and the flame protection. Make sure that
all holes in the brazier let the air pass.
Vaccum the brazier support and all the accessible partsPut back the flame protection by proceeding in
the opposite order.
Put back the ashtray and the brazier.
Monthly cleaning
More in-depth cleaning of the combustion chamber is necessary once a month.
Carry out daily cleaning operations to Remove the two screws using a hexagonal
key.
Extract
external side flame protections.
Remove the central plate
Remove the
left internal side plate
Remove the right internal side plate
Remove the right internal lower plate
Remove the left internal lower plate
Carefully clean all accessible parts.
Then reassemble all the parts in reverse order.
Cleaning the window
The glass is self-cleaning: while the stove is in operation, a veil of air
flows along its surface, limiting the deposit of ash and dirt. However, after a
few hours a grayish patina will form, which can be cleaned off when the stove
is turned off for the first time. The blackening of the glass also depends on
the quality and quantity of pellets used. The glass must be cleaned when the
stove is cold with non-aggressive products intended for this purpose. When
this opera-tion is carried out, always check the condition of the seal and
replace it if necessary.
- A very effective way to clean the glass: dampen a cloth, dip it in the ash, and use it to clean the glass. Then wipe with a dry cloth.
Cleaning the outer parts
To clean the metal parts of the stove, use a soft cloth moistened with water.
Never use alcohol, diluers, petrol, acetone or other degreasers.
Annual maintenance
A maintenance must be carried out once a year by a specialized technician. This must include:
- Control and cleaning all fans
- Cleaning the smoke evacuation circuit
- Cleaning of all electromechanical components
- Cleaning the heat exchanger
