USER MANUAL
Read through this user manual carefully before using the blender. Save the manual for later reference, to avoid incorrect use or injury. In this manual, the CHB2351X Blender is also referred to as “the unit”.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The unit may only be connected to an earthed wall socket with the main voltage of 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz.

NEVER leave children unattended near the unit.

This product can be used by children over eight years of age, by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, and by persons without proper practical experience or expertise, provided they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

Place the unit on a flat, dry surface indoors, far away from heat sources.

Do not immerse the unit in water or similar liquid, for instance when cleaning it.

NEVER pull on the power cord to unplug the unit, as this could damage the power cord. Do not use the unit under any circumstances if the power cord or any other part
of the unit is damaged. Has the unit been repaired by an authorized service agent? -
If the unit is used in other ways than for its intended purpose, or without following the user manual, the User shall be responsible for any consequences. Any damage to the product resulting from improper use shall not be covered by the guarantee or the returns policy.
PRODUCT-SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Take care as the unit has sharp, fast-rotating parts.
- Make sure the blender accessories are correctly attached before use.
- Do not operate the unit if it is empty or has very hot liquids in it.
- Never hold utensils close to the unit’s blades.
BEFORE USE
FOLLOW THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS BELOW WHEN USING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
- Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or base of the blender in water or any other liquid (risk of electric shock).
- Make sure the power cord does not hang over the edge of a table or worktop or come into contact with hot surfaces.
- Never leave the unit unattended when it is in use.
- Avoid touching moving parts. Never put your hands or utensils in the sports bottle while you are blending (you could be seriously injured or destroy the blender).
- The blade is extremely sharp. Handle it with care!
- Never fit the blade unit to the motor unit unless the sport bottle is correctly fitted (risk of personal injury).
- Never run the blender continuously for more than 1 minute, then wait 2 minutes before restarting.
- Do not try to disable the unit’s safety interlock system.
- Do not mix hot liquids in the blender.
- Do not use the unit if the power cord or plug is damaged, if the unit has been dropped or if it has been damaged or does not work correctly. Take the unit to the nearest service center to be checked, repaired, or for electrical/mechanical adjustment.
- This unit is solely intended for domestic use indoors – it is not intended for commercial use.
- Disconnect the blender from the wall socket when it is not in use, before attaching or removing components, and before cleaning.
- We advise against any use of non-genuine accessories (including bottle and mounting accessories) – such use may pose a risk of personal injury.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER CORD
Follow the instructions below when using an extension cord:
- Position the extension cord so that it does not hang over a kitchen worktop or tabletop, so that children cannot reach it and so that it does not create a trip hazard.
- Do not pull the power cord (make sure that the power cord is not twisted or used incorrectly).
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
This unit is fitted with a resettable thermal fuse to prevent damage to the
motor if it is overloaded. If the motor stops unexpectedly, switch off the
unit immediately and unplug it from the main supply (let it cool down for at
least 15 minutes).
BLENDING TIPS

Pour in the liquid first (even if the recipe tells you not to do this).

Cut firm fruit and vegetables into smaller pieces (around 2–2.5 cm).

Do not overfill the sports bottle. If the motor stops, switch off the unit immediately and unplug it from the main supply (let it cool down for at least 15 minutes). Then
remove some of the ingredients and continue blending. -
This blender should not be used for mashing potatoes, whisking egg whites or cream substitutes, mixing firm dough, or mincing raw meat.

Place the sports bottle on a flat surface with the open end facing upwards. Fill the sports bottle with the ingredients you want to blend (do not fill above the max. level).

Fit the blade unit to the open end of the sports bottle. Turn the sports bottle upside down, and turn the arrow on the blade unit toward the padlock symbol on the motor unit. Turn the sports bottle clockwise until it locks. Press the button on the motor unit to start blending. Blending will stop if the bottle is lifted off. You must lock the bottle in the correct position before you can start the blender.
NOTE: Never run the blender continuously for more than 1 minute, then wait 2 minutes before starting it again. -
Turn the sports bottle upside down and place it on a flat surface. Remove the blade unit and fit the drinking lid. The sports bottle is convenient to carry around during the
day.
CLEANING AND STORING THE BLENDER
IMPORTANT! UNPLUG THE BLENDER FROM THE MAINS SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING IT.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE BASE OF THE BLENDER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Clean the outside of the blender’s motor unit with a damp sponge dipped in
mild detergent. All components except the blender’s motor unit can be washed
in a dishwasher. These components (except the blender’s motor unit) can also
be washed by hand with warm water and detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to
dry.
STORING THE BLENDER
Clean the blender. Fit the blade unit to the open end of the sports bottle and
place it in the blender’s motor unit. Fit the drinking lid to the other end of
the sports bottle.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL
**** According to law, electrical and electronic devices must be disposed of
at recycling stations and certain parts must be recycled. Electrical and
electronic devices marked with a recycling symbol must be taken to a municipal
recycling station.
