PAXCESS HJ2052 Automatic Robotic Pool Cleaner

Important Precautions

  1.  In order to avoid any accident/damage, it is strongly recommended to fix the power supply unit 3.Sm away from the swimming pool by using the safety rope (included in the package).
  2.  In order to prevent severe damage to the cleaner, never power on the unit when it is outside of the swimming pool.
  3.  The power cord must be connected to an appropriate earthed socket.
  4.  Hold the top handle when putting the cleaner into water or lifting out of the water, do not pull the cable.Before power on, make sure to empty the trapped air inside the cleaner (no more air bubbles coming from the cleaner and the cleaner is fully submersed on the pool bottom).
  5.  Before power on, make sure the filter be assembled in position and cable be fully released to avoid any winding, which could affect the cleaner’s performance or cause damage.
  6.  Please clean and wash the filter bag every time after use.
  7.  The cleaner should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  8.  The power supply unit should be placed in a shaded area during working. To avoid overheating and potential damage of compo­nents, never cover the power supply unit.
  9.  Only authorized after-sales service personnel should open the clean­er’s power supply unit and motor assembly, otherwise, the warranty will be invalidated.
  10.  Do not use the cleaner beyond the working environment/conditions stated in this manual.
  11.  Make sure the PH of pool water is between 7.0-7.2.
  12.  This machine is to clean the pool only not for other purposes. Read carefully the user manual before use.

Attention

When putting the cleaner into the water please hold the top handle make sure to empty the trapped air inside, then the cleaner can immerse into the pool floor.
When pulling cleaner out of the water, suspend the cleaner above water for about 10-15 seconds to empty the water inside. Please holds the top handle only, never pull the cable.

Introduction

The robotic pool cleaner HJ2052 is a new type of highly efficient and energy- saving swimming pool cleaning robot. Through its advanced computer-controller program, it can clean the pool walls and bottom automatically. At the same time, it filters the pool water and gets rid of suspended particles without replacing the pool water. It’s totally environ­mental-friendly. For safe operation, the cleaner works on 28V direct current. Please read this user manual carefully before use.

Safety

  1. Power supply unit position:
    Power supply unit needs to be placed in a proper position for the cleaner to reach the distal end of the pool, meanwhile as least 3.Sm from the pool edge.

  2. Free Safety Rope Comes with Machine
    Please use the safety rope to fix the power supply unit, which can avoid the power supply unit to drop your pool.

| Stop the cleaner, check if anything is blocked in impeller or in transmission system

Filter cleaning

  1.  Slide the two clips according to the indications on the top cover to open it and take out the filters.

  2. Clean the filters.
    Re-install the filters, pay attention to the good position and slide the two clips to close the top cover.

  3. Foam Installation
    Attention: If your robot is in good performance, please ignore this instruction.
    The following illustration is limited to the use of white foam blocks to increase coverage when the cleaning machine cannot completely clean and cover the pool table(Figure 3) Stick two foams on the reverse surface of top cover (see below picture), make sure the two foams are in the middle part of top cover.

  4. Roller-Foam
    To ensure the performance of the machine for the first time use, it is normal and all right if the two rollers of the machine are wet at your receipt of the robot. And it is recommended that before each use, if the rollers are dry, please immerse the machine into water for 15-20 minutes and wait for the rollers to fully absorb water, then switch on. (Figure 4)

Trouble Shooting

The pool water condition must be within the following parameters:

PH: 7.0-7.4 Salt: Max 5,000 ppm
Temperature: l0°C(S0° F) to 35°C(95° F) Chlorine: Max 2 ppm

1. Soak the machine into the water until it is totally soaked for the first time use, you can knead the sponge brushes to accelearte the softening and soaking.

2.  When the sponge brushes is soft, drop the machine into the pool correctly.

1. Check if the LED on power supply flashes, if yes, it may because it scheduled for 1 hour and has completed cleaning. ( The default time is 1 hour).

2.  There is a blockage in the filter basket.

3.  The belt is broken.

4.   If the belt is fine, there may be something wrong with the motor, in this case contact with our customer service for help.

2.  Clean up the filter basket and restart the machine.

3.  Replace belts. (Tips: Please don’t use the cleaner immediately after spraying pool chemical, or it will cause belts broke easily.)

Working environment and application requirements

  1.  Pool temperature: 20°C-40°C(68°F~104 °F)
  2.  Max. pool depth: 3m
  3.  Pool type & materials: suitable for all pool types & materials
  4.  Do not use the cleaner immediately after spraying the pool chemicals and do not use the cleaner as a dosing machine, which will damage and corrode the belts.
  5.  Do not power on the cleaner when it is out of water.
  6.  Do not operate the cleaner when there are people in the pool.
  7.  The adapter or power supply should be connected to a leakage-protected and earthed socket.
  8.  Fix the power supply at least 3.5m away from the pool edge and connect it with a fixed holder by the safety rope.
  9.  The power connector must be plugged tightly.
  10.  Avoid the collision and drop of the power supply and cleaner.
  11.  Do not cover the power supply during working.
  12.  Always clean and wash the filter tray after use.
  13.  Take the cleaner out of the swimming pool after use. If the cleaner is immersed in the water for a long time, there will be microorganisms produced.
  14.  The cable should be untwisted and wrapped properly after use.
  15.  The cleaner should be placed in a shaded area, away from sunshine and heat during use, charging (for battery model) or storage.
  16.  Use the original adapter only for Control box kit.

Warranty

  1.  This product is covered by Paxcess warranty for 24 months (only for driving kit and control box kit) from the date of purchase. Consumable parts are beyond of warranty which includes: Belt/Filter basket/Roller/Side cover
  2.  This warranty is void if the product has been altered, misused, or has been repaired by unauthorized personnel
