Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its content. Keep these operation instructions safe.
This windmill is primarily designed for ornamentation. The distributor cannot be held responsible for issues arising from modification. We strongly recommend not to modify the windmill and/or use it for any applications other than the ones which it was designed for. If you have any questions to a particular application, do not use the windmill until you’ve contacted the distributor first to determine if it can or should be performed on the product.

Intended use

The authentic,built-to-scale windmill replica has a smooth and silent ball- bearing operation, indicating wind direction and adding rural charm to your grounds.

Important safety considerations

Windmill use and care

• Do not modify the windmill in any way. Unauthorized modifications may impair the function and/or safety and could affect the life of the equipment. There are specific applications for which the windmill was designed.
• Always check for damaged or worn-out parts before using the windmill. Broken parts will affect the windmill operation. Replace or repair damaged or worn parts immediately.
• Warning: Fall Hazard. Do not allow unattended children around the windmill. Do not allow children to climb on or play on the windmill.

Assembly

Refer to the diagram and parts list below.

Assembly Instructions
Loosely bolt together the main four (4) legs. Each leg is made up of three (3) pieces each. The leg with the large hole goes on the bottom. The leg with the offset hole goes at the top. Fasten the masthead to the four (4) legs at the top. Set the windmill on a flat level surface and bolt the cross and X-braces to the outside of the legs. Top X-braces are bolded to the outside of the legs and platform. Tighten all bolts after all parts are assembled.

Assembling the horizontal stabilizer and vane
Place the frame of the wheel and cane on the masthead. A washer and pin is furnished to fasten the wheel to the vane shaft. A washer and pin is also for the L-bracket. This goes on the bottom. Drive stakes are furnished to fasten the Windmill on the ground. A cement base is recommended as an option for you to use. Be sure the grease nipple is greased in the wheel tub.

Be sure to regularly grease the grease nipple of the wheel.
