Operation.
Use the electric weed burner to burn weeds between flagstones and tiles.
Adjust the support handle, so you have the best possible control of the
machine
Activate the ON/OFF trigger on the weed burner handle with the fingers (figure
1,2), Release to stop.
First time the machine is being used, a faint odour may be released. This is
not harmful and will disappear after using the machine for a while.
It can take up to 5 minutes before the weed burner reaches its maximum
temperature.
The weed burner is most suitable for plants with a high sap content. The best
time to burn weed is during spring. It is most effective to use the weed
burner in the early stage of a plants growth. Note, that the result is not
immediately visible, it can take several days before the plant dries out.
Plants with soft-leaved seedlings are most sensitive and requires often only
one treatment. Older plants with hard leaves will require more treatments
every 1-2 weeks before dries out.
The burn time varies depending on the weed type. The bigger and stronger it
is, the longer time is needed. To get the best result, it cannot be burned too
little or too much. It is recommended to try different treatments between 5-20
seconds.
When taking breaks, let the machine rest on the support brace.
Do not press the nozzle down onto the surface. This will cause deformation of
nozzles, and may limit heath discharge, causing meltdown of the product.
Extension cords longer than 15 m must not be coiled, but must be rolled out,
lying loosely on the ground.
The performance may decrease if long extension cars (above 25 m) is being
used.
Storage
Clean the machine after use. Make sure no debris gets in through the cooling slots of the motor housing and heat blower. Store the cleaner in a frost free area, out of reach of children.
