Exercise caution when using your HERO10 Black Bones as part of your active lifestyle. Always be aware of your surroundings to avoid injury to yourself and others.

  6.  Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  7.  Do not charge and or use near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that produce heat.
  8.  Protect the power connector and wire from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
  9. Using attachments/accessories that are not specified by manufacturer may cause damage to your product and or result in fire.
  10.  Refer all servicing GoPro. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  11.  Abide by all local laws when using your HERO10 Black Bones.

CAMERA SAFETY

WARNING: Failure to take the following precautions can result in serious injury or death from electric shock, fire, or damage to your HERO10 Black Bones:

  •  Inspect your camera, accessories, and drone before use to ensure they are not damaged and are assembled according to GoPro’s and/or third party manufacturers’ instructions. For safety purposes, use only GoPro power connectors and wires, with your HERO10 Black Bones. Exercise caution when using your HERO10 Black Bones as part of your active lifestyle. Always be aware of your surroundings to avoid injury to yourself and others.
  •  HERO10 Black Bones is not intended for mounting to your body or helmet. Failure to adhere to this warning could result in damage or injury • Observe the following precautions when using HERO10 Black Bones:
  •  The use of any other component, accessory, or power connector and wire that is not recommended by GoPro may cause fire, electric shock, or injury. Your warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of unauthorized attachments or power connectors and wires. For approved power options, visit gopro.com.
  •  Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave, incinerate, or paint the camera.
  •  Aside from approved SD cards and power connectors or wires, do not insert foreign objects into any opening on the camera.
  •  Do not use the camera if it has been damaged—for example, if cracked, punctured, or harmed by water.
  •  Do not dry the camera with an external heat source such as a microwave oven or hair dryer.
  •  Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, on or near the product.
  •  Your GoPro camera mounting fingers may become warm from prolonged use. Turn off your camera and simply let it sit and cool before attempting to hold the camera by the mounting fingers.
  •  When connecting the camera to the power source, do not handle the camera or wires with wet hands. Failure to observe this warning could result in electric shock.
  •  Using a power connector and wire other than a GoPro-approved power connector and wire can damage HERO10 Black Bones and could result in fire or leakage.
  •  The camera will not float. Do not get the camera wet. Failure to observe this precaution could result in fire, electric shock, or damage to your camera. Do not submerge your HERO10 Black Bones in liquid. Damage to the camera caused by contact with liquid is not covered under the warranty.
  •  Only mount your camera where it will not interfere with vehicle or equipment operation. Do not mount your GoPro in a high vibration setting in cold weather conditions (for example, on top of skis or snowboard). Do not wear your HERO10 Black Bones if this will interfere with the use of required equipment. Do not wear your HERO10 Black Bones where it will come into contact with other objects. Failure to observe this warning could result in accidents or other injury.
  •  Do not place the product on, or attach it to, unstable surfaces. Failure to observe this precaution could result in the product coming loose or falling over, causing accidents or other injury.
  •  If using the external power connection, follow all safety guidelines for the third-party power device.
    Your HERO10 Black Bones lens is glass. Should the lens break, care should be taken to avoid injury due to broken glass. Keep out of reach of children. Contact GoPro Customer Support. The temperature of your camera may become warm during operation, which is a normal condition during use. In such circumstances, disconnect the power connector and wire from the power source and let it sit and cool before attempting to use it again. Continued operation could result in fire, burns, or another injury. This product is not a toy. Keep away from children; adult supervision required. Should a child swallow any part of this product, seek immediate medical attention.

It is solely your responsibility to comply with all local laws, regulations, and restrictions on the use of cameras or the operation of drones. Do not use your HERO10 Black Bones for unauthorized surveillance, surreptitious use, or in any manner that violates personal privacy laws. Such use is often strictly forbidden and can subject the operator to serious liability and criminal prosecution.
CAUTION: Radio-frequency emissions from electronic equipment can negatively affect the operation of other electronic equipment, causing them to malfunction. The wireless transmitters and electrical circuits in your product may cause interference in other electronic equipment. When using this product near another device, read that device’s user guide for any safety instructions. Power your camera off whenever it is forbidden to use it or when it may cause interference.
NOTICE: Avoid exposing your camera to very cold or very hot temperatures. Low or high-temperature conditions may cause the camera to temporarily stop working properly. The microphone in your camera is designed to provide optimal audio capture in a variety of environments. When Wi-Fi is on, microphones may detect and capture low-level noises. To prevent this noise, turn off Wi-Fi when recording. Abide by all local laws when using your GoPro and related mounts and accessories, including all privacy laws, which may restrict recording in certain areas. The product label is located on the product.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

This product shall only be connected to an external power supply rated between 5V and 27V (2S-6S Li-Po battery). Any external power supply used with HERO10 Black Bones shall comply with relevant regulations and standards applicable in the country of intended use.Your HERO10 Black Bones should be operated in a well-ventilated environment and, if used inside a case, the case should not be covered. The connection of incompatible devices to the power connector and wires may affect compliance or result in damage to the unit and invalidate the warranty. All third-party products used with HERO10 Black Bones should comply with relevant standards for the country of use and be marked accordingly to ensure that safety and performance requirements are met. Use caution when soldering the electrical wires to your drone or another power source. Ensure you always solder in a well-ventilated area. Never touch the element or tip of the soldering iron. It is very hot and will burn. Hold wires to be heated with tweezers, pliers or clamps to avoid receiving burns from objects that are heated. Following any soldering, allow the surface to cool prior to handling. Do not attempt to solder the wires if HERO10 Black Bones is connected to a power source. Follow related third-party instructions associated with soldering safety including avoiding inhalation of soldering smoke/fumes and using safety glasses or goggles when soldering wires. HERO10 Black Bones is not intended for helmet mounting. Always select a helmet that meets the applicable safety standard. Choose the right helmet for your particular sport or activity and make sure that it is the right fit and size for you. Inspect your helmet to ensure that it is in good condition and follow the helmet manufacturer’s instructions on safe helmet use. Any helmet that has sustained a major impact should be replaced. No helmet can protect against injury in every accident. Use caution when using HERO10 Black Bones during any and all activities involving movement to ensure that the power connectors and wires do not catch, snag, or become tangled with or on other objects.
CAUTION: When using GoPro products near another device, read that device’s user guide for any safety instructions. To limit potential interference with digital transceivers such as avalanche beacons, consult with the transceiver’s user manual regarding the use of electronic devices, such as HERO10 Black Bones, when engaged in the avalanche beacon search mode. Power your HERO10 Black Bones off whenever it is forbidden to use it or when it may cause interference. NOTICE: Avoid exposing your HERO10 Black Bones to very cold or very hot temperatures. Low or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life or cause HERO10 Black Bones to temporarily stop working properly. Avoid dramatic changes in temperature or humidity

LIMITED WARRANTY

Your GoPro HERO10 Black Bones is guaranteed against manufacturing defects one (1) year from the original date of purchase. GoPro’s sole obligation in the event of such defects during this period is to repair or replace the defective part or product with a comparable part or product at GoPro’s sole discretion. Exceptfor such repair or replacement, the sale, processing, or other handling of this product is without warranty, condition,  or other liability even if the defect or loss is caused by negligence or other fault. Damage resulting fromwater, weather, use, accident, any power sources outside of the approved power specifications, or normal wear and tear is not covered by this or any warranty. GoPro assumes no liability for any accident, injury, death, loss, or other claim related to or resulting from the use of this product. In no event shall GoPro be liable for incidental or consequential damages relating to or resulting from the use of this product or any of its parts. Returns or replacements of parts and/or products may be subject to shipping, handling, replacement and/or restocking fees.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) GOPRO DISCLAIMS ALL STATUTORY AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESSFOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS; (B) THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND FOREGOING REMEDIES ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER RIGHTS, REMEDIES OR WARRANTIES THAT MAY APPLY, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED; AND (C) THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO CLAIMS THAT OCCUR IN THE COUNTRY IN WHICH THE PRODUCT WAS INITIALLY DELIVERED ON THE DATE OFFIRST PURCHASE. THIS AGREEMENT GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY.
