MPORTANT PRODUCT AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (ENGLISH)
Exercise caution when using your GoPro camera, extension pole, and remote control as part of your active lifestyle. Always be aware of your surroundings to avoid injury to yourself and others.
Observe the following precautions to avoid a battery fire:
- Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave, incinerate or paint the GoPro remote control.
- Do not insert foreign objects
- Do not use the remote control if it has been damaged-for example, if cracked, punctured or harmed by water
- Disassembling or puncturing the battery (whether integrated or removable) can cause a fire.
- Do not dry the remote control with an external heat source such as a microwave oven or hair dryer.
- In the event of a battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes.
- If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Do not store your battery with metal objects, such as coins, keys or necklaces. If the battery terminals come in contact with metal objects, this may cause a fire.
- The battery provided with your remote control is not user serviceable. Contact GoPro Customer Service for all battery related issues.
Observe the following precautious regarding the coin/button cell battery
- Do not ingest battery as it could pose a chemical burn hazard.
- This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children
- If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
If using your camera with a GoPro helmet mount, always select a helmet that meets the applicable safety standard. Choose the right helmet for your particular sport or activity and make sure that it is the right fit and size for you. Inspect your helmet to ensure that it is in good condition and follow the helmet manufacturer’s instructions on safe helmet use. Any helmet that has sustained a major impact should be replaced. No helmet can protect against injury in every accident.
CAUTION: When using GoPro products near another device, read that device’s user guide for any safety Instructions. To limit potential interference with digital transceivers such as avalanche beacons, consult with the transceiver’s user manual regarding the use of other GPS or electronic devices, such as the GoPro camera, when engaged in the avalanche beacon search mode. Power your camera off whenever it is forbidden to use it or when it may cause interference
NOTICES: Avoid exposing your GoPro remote control to very cold or very hot temperatures. Low or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life or cause the remote control to temporarily stop working properly. Avoid dramatic changes in temperature or humidity when using the remote control, as condensation may form on or within the product.

LIFETIME WARRANTY-Extension Pole:
GoPro warrants this extension pole (non-electrical GoPro mounts and
accessories) under a LIFETIME WARRANTY against defects in materials and
workmanship for the lifetime of the product for the benefit of the first
purchaser or gift recipient. Products found to be defective will be repaired
or replaced at GoPro’s discretion. GoPro reserves the right to make all
determinations under this warranty. Products falling due to normal wear and
tear, abuse or natural breakdown of materials over extended use and time may

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. GOPRO DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS. TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL GOPRO BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFIT, OR FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INOPERABILITY OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF GOPRO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES IN NO EVENT WILL GOPRO’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT
This Lifetime Warranty and Limited Lifetime Warranty give you specific legal
rights, and you also may have other rights that vary from state to state or
country to country. Some places do not allow limitations on implied warranties
or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
For Lifetime Warranty or Limited Lifetime Warranty evaluation please visit
www.gopro.com/help for a return authorization before shipping your product to
GoPro. For warranty evaluation, your product must be accompanied by an
explanation and receipt. All shipping for warranty evaluation must be pre-paid
and insured. GoPro cannot be liable for lost in-bound packages. Damage not
covered under the Lifetime Warranty or Limited Lifetime Warranty may be
repaired or replaced for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged, Warranty
void where prohibited.
European Union Consumers : GoPro grants for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase of the relevant GoPro product and free of charge a limited manufacturer’s guarantee to the end customer. This shall not limit any consumer rights which you have under consumer law; instead, it grants you additional rights. The guarantee is governed by the following terms and conditions. GoPro guarantees that for a period of two (2) years year from the original date of purchase, your GoPro product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and provided it has been used in accordance with the instructions in the relevant GoPro user manual (gopro.com/help). In the event of a defect, please contact GoPro Customer Support (gopro. com/help) for assistance and be prepared to present the original purchase receipt. GoPro’s sole obligation under this guarantee will be, at its option, to repair or replace the defective product. This guarantee does not apply to products damaged by misuse, accident, or normal wear and tear. This guarantee does also not apply to products damaged as a result of repair works not performed by GoPro or an authorized GoPro dealer. Due to possible user resealing error or disassembly, GoPro products used in combination with water-proof housings are not guaranteed against water leakage or other water damage Including any damage resulting from it.
Australian Consumers: The benefits given by the GoPro limited warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the product repaired or replaced if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Disposal. Promptly dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations. Contact your local recycling center or national recycling organizations for more information on how to dispose of batteries.
The symbol means that according to local laws and regulations your product should be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches its end of life, take it to a collection point designated by local authorities. Some collection points accept products for free. The separate collection and recycling of your product at the time of disposal will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment.
