IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
Do not use this product in a control system that requires a high degree of safety and reliability.
In such a system, this product could negatively affect other electronic devices and could malfunction due to the effect on those devices.

The pen tip or side switch cover could be detached and be accidentally swallowed.

Do not place heavy objects on top of this product.
Do not step or place heavy objects on this product as this could damage it.

Avoid high or low-temperature locations for storage.
Do not store this product in a location where the temperature drops below 5℃ or goes above 40℃ and in locations subject to excessive temperature fluctuations. Failure to heed this caution could result in damage to the product and its components.
Do not disassemble.
Do not disassemble or modify this product as this could expose you to heat, fire, electric shock and injury. Disassembling the product will also void your warranty.
Do not use alcohol for cleaning.
Never use alcohol, thinner, benzene or other mineral solvents as they could discolor or cause deterioration to the product.
Do not expose to water.
Do not place glasses or vases filled with water or other liquids near this product. Exposure to water or liquid could damage the product.

CAUTION
Do not place metal objects on this product during operation.
Placing metal objects on this product during operation could cause it to malfunction or damage it.
Do not strike the pen against hard objects.
Striking the pen against a hard object could damage it.
Do not handle the pen with soiled hands.
The pen is a high-precision instrument. Handling it with soiled hands or using it in locations exposed to dust or strong odors may cause the entry of foreign matter which will result in a breakdown.

VEIKK shall in no event be liable for damages resulting from fires or earthquakes, those caused by third parties, and those arising from user misuse, abuse, or neglect.
VEIKK shall in no event be liable for incidental damages-including but not limited to loss of business income, interruption of business activities, corruption, or loss of data- that arise out of the use or failure to use this product.
VEIKK shall in no event be liable for damages resulting from uses not documented in this manual.
VEIKK shall in no event be liable for damages from malfunction caused by connection to other devices or use of third-party software.

Welcome to the VEIKK! This user manual will help you set up the VK1560 and install the driver.

Hardware Specification

Display Connection
  1. Connect one end of the USB cable to the computer.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to VK1560.
  3. Connect one end of the HMDI cable to the computer.
  4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to VK1560.
  5. Plug the power cable into a power outlet.
  6. Plug the other end of the power adapter into the VK1560 power port.

Note 1: We recommend you insert the VEIKK USB cable into the host USB port of your computer. You may use a USB hub with an attached external power supply to adequately power your VEIKK if needed.
Note 2: Make sure your computer supports multiple monitors. Check if your computer has extra HDMI ports. If your computer has an independent video card, please use the HDMI ports there.
Note 3: If there isn’t any input signal, it means the tablet doesn’t receive HDMI video input. Please reconnect the HDMI cable, change another HDMI cable or change another computer to have a try.

Installation on Windows
  1. Before installing the driver, please uninstall all tablet drivers from your computer, and keep all antivirus program closed

  2. Connect the tablet to your computer before the installation

  3. Please download the updated driver from www.veikk.com

  4. Unzip the downloaded file to the desktop, open the newly unzipped folder

  5. Click VK TabletDriver.exe and follow onscreen instructions

  6. After installation then restarts your computer.

Monitor Mapping

How to Change to Extended Display
Extended Display means you work with a larger Windows desktop area spanning your computer monitor and your VK1560 LCD Display. Applications can be moved from one display to the other and will allow you to work in different screen resolutions.

  1. Right-click your desktop and select Screen Resolution.

  2. In the Multiple Displays dropdown, change to [Extend these Displays]

  3. If your computer is equipped with more than one monitor, your VK1560 pen display will map to the monitors based on how they are configured in the DISPLAY  PROPERTIES control panel.

  4. After you have correctly configured your computer for multiple monitors, you can then adjust your VK1560 pen display mapping by opening the driver icon and changing the appropriate options. This enables you to toggle the current VK1560 mapping and screen cursor between the system desktop or primary display and your other monitors.

Note: Under the Duplicate display mode of the Multiple Display function, the display resolution of your monitor must be set to the same resolution as your VK1560. Otherwise, your pen cursor will be misplaced on the screen. For VK1560, please make sure the other monitor resolution is set to 1920×1080.

Pen Function Settings
You may customize the functions of pen buttons. Use the “Pen” option to program custom keystrokes.

Current Pen Pressure
Current Pen Pressure shows the current pressure level being exerted on your tablet and can be used to test pen pressure.

Click Sensitivity
You can adjust pen pressure to “Output” or “Press” sensitivity on here.

Mapping

Define the tablet area that will be mapped to the screen area.

Monitor Setting
Here you can adjust the monitor color temperature and parameter.

Rotate
It can freely rotate the pen display and satisfy left-hand users.

Screen Mapping
If working in Extended Display, choose which monitor you want your VK1560 pen display to track with. Most likely, you will want it to track with the VK1560 display. To learn which monitor is Monitor 1 and which is Monitor 2, Please go to Start > Settings > Display and click Identify.VEIKK VK1560 Pen Display -

Calibration
Click Start Calibration to activate the calibration screen. Press crosses appearing on the screen one by one with the P68 pen to calibrate the screen.
Enable Windows Ink Function
Microsoft Windows provides extensive support for pen input. Pen features are supported in such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop CC, AI, and so on.

Hotkeys
Redefine Hotkey: Click on the title of the button. A dropdown menu will appear with a list of tool options. Choose the one you want to use. Custom Define: At the bottom of the dropdown menu, choose Custom. This will allow you to input a custom keyboard shortcut.
Note: Software keystrokes are based on English input methods. If not yet, set it to English when using Hotkeys on your VK1560 pen display.
Note: Most creative software will not accept keystroke inputs when your pen is still in use or when your pen is still within the detectable cursor range. To avoid invalid keystroke actions, hold the pen away from the screen before pressing your Fast Access button. (Hold a pen at least 1.5cm away from the surface of the screen.)

Dial
You can define 5 functions of the Dial. Tap on the Dial button to select the function you would like to use. To switch between functions, press down on the edge of the Dial. You will see the function name briefly at the bottom of the screen when switched.VEIKK VK1560 Pen Display - figure

About Us
