- Connect the metallic lance and the nozzle by pressing the connector.
- Make sure the anti-impurities filter is clear of any blockage.
- Connect the water hose.
- Check that the hoses have no kinks.
- Turn on water and check for leaks.
- Depress trigger to allow air to be expelled through the pump and high-pressure hose, lock trigger.
- Plug in machine and turn on switch.
- Unlock trigger and use the pressure washer.
NOTE: It is very important to bleed the gun before using the pressure washer. Squeeze the trigger to allow any air that is trapped inside of the unit and high-pressure hose to escape. Continue to squeeze trigger until a steady stream of water comes from the nozzle. (This process may take up to 2 minutes).
OPERATION
This portable pressure washing is a highly specialized multifunctional machine
with exceptionally reliable safety assurance, which may be used to wash and
clean cars, bikes and other outdoor equipment or garden patios, green houses
etc.
WARNING: Be aware of the recoil caused by the water jet when the machine
is switched on.
NOTE: Pay special attention when cleaning delicate surfaces such as bodywork o wheel rims, lacquered surfaces, wood, paint, etc.
AUTO ON/OFF
The motor on this pressure washer does not run continuously. It only runs when
the trigger of the spray gun is squeezed. After following the start-up
procedures in this manual, turn the pressure washer ON and squeeze the trigger
for activation.
SHUT DOWN
- Turn off the motor (push switch to the off position).
- Unplug the unit from the power source.
- Turn off the water supply.
- Press the trigger of the gun to depressurize the system.
- Disconnect the water inlet hose from the pressure washer.
- Wipe all surfaces of the unit with a damp clean cloth.
- Engage the gun safety lock.
WARNING:
- Always turn off the unit’s motor before turning off the unit’s water supply. Serious damage could occur to the motor if the unit is run without water.
- Never disconnect the high-pressure discharge hose from the machine while the system is still pressurized. To depressurize the unit, turn off the motor, turn off the water supply and squeeze the trigger 2-3 times.
ULTRAJET NOZZLES
The pressure washer comes furnished with four spray nozzles. Each nozzle is
colour coded and delivers a specific spray pattern and pressure for a
particular cleaning job. The size of the nozzle determines the size of the fan
spray and the pressure out of the nozzle.
- 0°Nozzle Red: This nozzle delivers a pinpoint stream of pressurized water and is extremely powerful. It covers only a small area of cleaning. This nozzle should only be directed at surfaces that can withstand high pressure such as metal or concrete. Do not use this nozzle to clean wood. (fig 1)
- 15° Nozzle Orange: This nozzle delivers a powerful 15-degree spray pattern for intense cleaning of small areas. This nozzle should only be used on areas and materials that can withstand high pressure. (fig 2)
- 25° Nozzle Green: This nozzle delivers a 25-degree spray pattern for intense cleaning of larger areas. This nozzle should only be used on areas that can withstand medium pressure. (fig 3)
- 40° Nozzle White: This nozzle delivers a 40-degree spray pattern and a less powerful stream of water. This nozzle can cover a wide area and should be used for more general cleaning jobs. (fig 4)
LOCK SYSTEM
It is very important to grip the gun in the right position when using the
high-pressure washer, with one hand on the handle and the other on the lance.
When you stop the machine, it is necessary to use the safety lock placed on
the gun in order to avoid accidents.
ACCESSORIES
- SOAP BOTTLE
Insert the metal end of the spray lance into the opening of the spray gun (making sure to match the locking tabs on either side of the spray lance to the notches of the spray gun). Push in and turn clockwise to lock the spray lance and spray gun together (make sure both are securely fitted). Insert the end of the soap bottle with the plastic locking tabs into the opening of the spray lance. Push in, turn, and lock so the soap bottle and spray lance are firmly secure.
This accessory includes a soap regulator, with which you can adjust, increase or decrease the quantity of soap used.
The combination of chemical action and high-pressure rinsing is very effective. On vertical surfaces, apply the soap starting at the bottom and work upward. This will prevent the soap from sliding down and causing streaks. High-pressure rinsing should also progress from the bottom to the top. On particularly tough stains, it may be necessary to use a brush in combination with soap and high-pressure rinsing.
-
ANTI-IMPURITIES FILTER
This model includes a transparent male connector with an anti-scale filter to which the hose is connected, preventing scale from building up. -
360BRUSH
This model includes a special brush for cleaning car wheels, which is made of hard bristles capable of removing the most difficult dirt. When this accessory is installed and used, water will automatically come out with low pressure. -
EASYCLEAN BRUSH
This model also includes a cleaning brush that, combined with water and detergent, help removing stains and allow a more efficient cleaning. When this accessory is installed and used, water will automatically come out with low pressure. -
2-SPIN BRUSH
This accessory, included with this model, is installed onto the product’s lance and is made of hard bristles. It spins and emits high-pressure water, allowing thorough and comfortable cleaning. It is designed to clean patios, gardens and floors in general. -
3D TURBOFLIP NOZZLE
Use the 3D TurboFlip nozzle to clean with turbo mode. Water is distributed in a spiral-shaped stream. The 3D TurboFlip nozzle combines the power of a focused high-impact stream and the efficiency of a 25-degree stream. This turns the narrow high-impact stream into a cone-shaped one that cleans thoroughly larger areas.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Use specific soap or cleaning agents for pressures washers.
- The machine shall be disconnected from its power source by removing the plug from the socket-outlet during cleaning or maintenance.
- Do not store the pressure washer outdoors or where it could freeze. The pump could be seriously damaged.
- The anti-impurities water inlet filter must be inspected regularly, so as to avoid blockage and restriction in the water supply to the pump
NOZZLE CLEANING
A clogged or partially clogged nozzle can cause a significant reduction of
water coming out of the nozzle and cause the unit to pulsate while spraying.
To clean out the nozzle:
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Turn off water supply. Relieve any pressure trapped in the hose by squeezing the trigger 2- 3 times.
- Separate the lance from the gun.
- Using the provided cleaning kit, or an unfolded paper clip, insert the wire into the nozzle hole and move back and forth until debris is dislodged.
- Remove debris by back-flushing water through the nozzle. To do this, point the end of a garden hose (with water running) to the nozzle’s end for 30-60 seconds.
