CHAMPION 100719 8500W Electric Start Inverter Generator

Set-Up
-
Open shipping carton Assembly
Unboxing -
Remove brackets Assembly
Remove Shipping Support Brackets. -
Attach wheel kit Assembly
Install the Wheel Kit -
Connect the battery Assembly
Push two halves of battery connector together tightly. -
Add oil Assembly Add Engine Oil.
Recommended: 10W-30, up to 37.2 fl. oz. (1100 ml) DO NOT overfill
MAKE SURE SHIPPING BRACKETS ARE REMOVED BEFORE ADDING OIL. -
Move the generator outdoors
Move generator to an open, outdoor area. Point exhaust away from people and buildings. Never run a generator inside a home or garage.
Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. The heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials. -
Add fuel Assembly
DO NOT use E15 or E85. -
DO NOT plug in any electrical devices
NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON -
A.Electric Start

Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “CHOKE” position

Press and hold the ignition switch.

Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “RUN” position
-
B.Manual Start
-
- Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “CHOKE” position.
-
Remove the maintenance cover on the right side of the control panel.
-
Pull the recoil to start the engine.
-
Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “RUN” position

Plug in
