• Engine Oil: 5W-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml)
• Fuel Type: Regular gasoline (Do not use E15 or E85)

Adding Oil
Before starting the generator, add engine oil following these steps:

1. Locate the oil fill cap.
2. Use the recommended 5W-30 oil and pour up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) into the engine. Do not overfill.

Adding Fuel

Follow these instructions to add fuel to the generator:

1. Use regular gasoline and avoid using E15 or E85.
2. Locate the fuel tank and carefully add the required amount of fuel.

Connecting Electrical Loads
When ready to operate the generator, follow these steps:

1. Ensure no electrical devices are plugged in.
2. Plug in the devices you need to power into the generator’s outlets.

A: No, using the generator indoors can be fatal due to carbon monoxide emissions. Always operate the generator outdoors in a well-ventilated area away from windows, doors, and vents.

NOTICE
Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.

SET UP

1. Add oil. Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
   Recommended: 5W-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) DO NOT overfill.|

2. Move the generator outdoors.
   ONLY USE OUTSIDE AND FAR AWAY FROM WINDOWS, DOORS, AND VENTS.

3. Add fuel assembly > Add Fuel
   DO NOT USE E15 OR E85.

4. DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.
   NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!

5. Turn the EZ Start dial to the “CHOKE” position.

6. Pull the recoil to start the engine.

7. Turn the EZ Start dial to the “ON” position.

8. Plug in. Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.\
