Cattleya LA2328-2W Outdoor Wall Light
Product Information
The product is a wall-mounted light fixture called “La PlusBelle”. The user manual provides instructions for assembling and installing the fixture. The product is made in China.
Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Shut off the power at the circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture and all hardware from the junction box.
- Step 2: Fix the mounting plate D on the junction box with the box screw. The side of the mounting plate marked GND must face out.
- Step 3: Attach the back plate (D) of the lamp body (B) onto the junction box and lock it securely with themounting screw.
- Step 4: Follow wiring instructions carefully. Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black house (hot) wire. Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white(neutral) house wire. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it.Otherwise, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw on the mounting plate.
- Step 5: Install the light bulbs (not included) in accordance with the fixture’s specifications. DO NOT EXCEED THEMAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
- Step 6: Attach the decorative bend (F) to the siding and tighten with the mounting cap (E).
Note: To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box and causing a
short, use clear caulking (i.e. Indoor/Outdoor Silicone Sealant) to outline
the outside of fixture’s back plate where it meets the wall leaving a space at
the bottom to allow moisture a means to escape.
WARNING: SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER.

CONNECTING THE WIRES
- Connect the electrical wires as follows. Connect the Black wire from the fixture to the black house (hot) Wire. Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) house wire. Make sure all wire nuts are secured. You may wrap the connections with electrical tape. If your outlet box has ground wires (green or bare copper) connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw on the mounting plate.
- Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall junction box.
NOTE: Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
