12V AIR COMPRESSOR
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Specification:
Voltage: DC 12V
Current Consumption: Max .10 Ampere
Ambient Temperature: From-20℃to+80℃
Power Cord Length: 3 meter
Air Hose Length: 1 m
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Keep the compressor clean and in good condition.
Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only.
Unauthorized parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
Keep children and non-essential persons away from the work area.
WARNING! This compressor is capable of producing high pressure.
The 12volt cigarette lighter plug must not be replaced with any other type
DO NOT inflate an item beyond its maximum specified pressure. of plug or
electrical supply.
DO NOT use near flammable solids, liquids, or gases.
DO NOT direct inflation hose connector head at yourself, others or
animals.
DO NOT leave the compressor operating unattended. Always monitor it and
the inflation pressure.
DO NOT carry by the hose, or yank the hose from an inflation valve.
DO NOT pull the plug from the cigarette lighter socket using the lead.
DO NOT get the compressor wet or use in the rain.
DO NOT use the compressor for a task that it is not designed for.
DO NOT operate the compressor when you are tired or under the influence
of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating medication.
DO NOT operate the compressor if any parts are missing or the compressor
is damaged, as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
DO NOT open the unit.
Please note:
This compressor’s pressure gauge (2) was designed for the air pressure of 6Bars (87PSI) with an accuracy of 0.1Bar for convenient use for personal cars, bicycles, inflate toys, etc. overpressure can be avoided by observing all operating instructions. Please read carefully the instructions written below. .Never leave the compressor unattended when in operation. When it is not in operation, always leave the valve lever connector in the open position. Keep out of the reach of children. Screw down the connector on the valve spindle ntil is tight. For precise pressure settings please refer to the manual. Avoid overpressure.
**** Tires:
Push the valve lever connector onto the valve and close by moving the lever downward. Connect the power supply cable plug to the cigar lighter socket and turn the ON/OFF switch to ON. On reaching the required pressure remove the valve lever connector from the valve spindle and disconnect the 12V plug from the socket.
**** Inflatables:
Select a matching adapter and attach it to the valve lever connector . Close
the connector. Insert the adapter into the item to be inflated. Connect the
power supply cable plug to the cigar lighter socket and turn the ON/OFF switch
to ON On reaching the required pressure remove the valve lever connector from
the inflated item and disconnect the 12V plug from the socket.
This compressor is not designed for long continuous operation. With
excessively long operation the compressor will be overheated and will be
damaged. If operated carelessly IF the external metal parts become hot
(detectable by touch), it means that the compressor has been switched on for a
too long time and is overheated. In this case, switch off the compressor
immediately and leave it to get cool (about 20 minutes) always after 10
minutes of continuous operation. This compressor may also be operated from a
12V battery charger. However to avoid damage to the compressor and charger 10
Amp or more are required.
**** TROUBLESHOOTING:
Compressor does not start /fuse blows: Plug can be inserted deeply into the
hole and can be turned in either direction. Remove dirt from the hole and plug
it. Use a non-conducting probe, never metal or fingers.
Check cigar lighter fuse. Minimum capacity 10 Amp
- Plug disconnected. Compressor runs but does not inflate: Connector –with dosed lever –should sit tightly in the valve
- Check the item to be inflated for leaks. Check hose and connections for cracks and leaks
**** Compressor works too slowly:
Overheating after excessively long operation. Disconnect the plug and leave to cool for 20 minutes. The voltage is too low. Check battery.
