INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
TIME & MOON PHASE SETTING
- To set the time, pull out the crown (1) and turn it clockwise until the desired time is reached.
- Do the same for the Moon Phase, rotating the hands. Once set it will not be necessary to set it again.
- Return the crown to its basic position. During the blocking period from 10.00 pm–5.00 am, automatic changes are in progress. It is not allowed to activate the pushers: pressing them may cause malfunctions.
A QUICK-CHANGE CORRECTION FOR DATE
Press pusher A on the side, until the current date is displayed (remember the
blocking period).
B QUICK-CHANGE CORRECTION FOR THE DAY OF THE WEEK
Press pusher B on the side, until the current day of the week is displayed
(remember the blocking period).
C QUICK-CHANGE CORRECTION FOR THE MONTH
Press pusher C on the side, until the current month is displayed (remember the
blocking period).
MAINTENANCE
PROMETHEUS IS A SWISS MADE QUARTZ WATCH WITH COMPLETE CALENDAR
COMPLICATION.
To start and set the watch, follow the instructions above.
Insert the crown into the case (if not already inserted) and the watch will
start to run.
The R.706.3 Swiss Made movement is powered by a N.373 battery with a duration
of approx. 40 months, declared from the warehouse.
Please note: the duration may vary, depending on numerous factors including
wrist movement, temperature (standard normal wrist temperature: between 5-50
degrees).
Any service to your watch performed by a non-SBW certified watchmaker will
void the warranty.
For the replacement of the battery, we recommend relying on certified and
recognized SBW watchmakers because the structure of the mechanism and the
screws on the back could be severely damaged by unqualified repairers.
In the event of damage in this condition, the guarantee is automatically
invalid.
WATER RESISTANCE
The watch is 10 ATM water-resistant to the depth indicated according to each
model. It does not have a screw-down crown but a triple gasket that guarantees
water resistance.
To ensure water resistance, check the actual resistance and expose the watch
to the correct situation, ensuring that the crown is fully against the case.
Although some of our watches are designed and constructed in such a way that
the pushers and crown can be used even when submerged in water, we recommend
that they are not triggered when the watch is under water, as the internal
seals of these devices are damaged by knocks or corrosive substances (not
visible to the naked eye) which can cause risky infiltration of water or
moisture inside the movement.
If you wish to use these devices in a completely safe manner when the watch is
immersed in water, we recommend that you check the water-resistance of your
watch every year in a properly equipped service centre.
After using your watch in salt water, rinse it with fresh water at room
temperature.
WATER RESISTANCE

SHOCKS
Avoid any kind of shocks whether physical or thermal to your watch do not
expose it to temperatures higher than 60°C or 140°F and lower than 0°C or
32°F.
MAGNETIC FIELDS
Avoid placing the watch near loudspeakers or other apparatuses generating
magnetic fields.
CHEMICALS
Avoid direct contact with detergents, perfumes, cosmetics, solvents, etc.,
since they may damage the case gaskets, the strap or the bracelet.
CLEANING
To maintain the brightness of the watch, bracelet and strap, do not use
abrasive materials for cleaning.
Wash them by hand, using a soft-bristled brush.
Use lukewarm water and, at most, mild soap, then rinse with tap water and dry
with a soft cloth.
ANTI-REFLECTION
The anti-reflective treatment on sapphire crystals in watches consists in
layers of special salts applied on both sides of the glass.
These films significantly reduce light reflection and considerably improve the
legibility of the dial and hands. For maximum anti-reflection efficiency, it
is recommended to clean the crystal carefully with a soft, clean cloth, such
as the one supplied.
LUMINOUS
The luminous featured in our watches is made only of non radioactive material
and glows only if the pigments have been fully activated so that they emit
light for about 5 hours with a descending performance.
Best results are achieved with direct sunlight or blue-white artificial lamps.
SILICON STRAP
Our straps are made of resistant and comfortable hypoallergenic silicon of the
highest quality. All our strap are waterproof.
In order to preserve the beauty and condition of your watch strap for as long
as possible, we recommend:
- Not to immerse the strap in salty water for a prolonged period of time
- Avoid prolonged exposure to intense sunlight or spot lights to prevent the color from fading
- Avoid contact with oily substances, creams and cosmetic products
- Clean it periodically with a brush or soft cloth
VEGETAL LEATHER STRAPS
Our leather straps are made from only the highest quality Italian handmade
vegetable leather. All our strap are waterproof.
The leather we use has been produced using natural methods and does not
contain no toxic compounds. In order to preserve the beauty and condition of
your watch strap for as long as possible, we recommend:
- Not to immerse the strap in water for a prolonged period of time
- Avoid prolonged exposure to intense sunlight or spot lights to prevent the color from fading
- Avoid contact with oily substances, creams and cosmetic products
- Clean it periodically with a brush or soft cloth
