Steinbach 079030 Chlorine Dosage Feeder
Installation
- Your automatic chlorine dosage feeder is intended for use as a permanent installation in the return pipe (between filter pump and pool). Fig. 1
- With powerful filter units, use a Bypass Set (Item no. 060045) Fig. 2
- Connector has 1 ½“ inner thread on both sides. For connection to a swimming pool hose Ø 32/38, we recommend a hose nozzle Ø 32/38 mm with 1 ½“ outer thread (Item no. 60030). The hose nozzle can be screwed on directly. (Seal with Teflon tape)
- Check all points for a tight seal on initial operation.

Please note: Never install your chlorine dosage feeder near copper, brass, bronze or other sensitive metal parts.
Getting started
Before using the chlorine dosage feeder for the first time, the chlorine level in your swimming pool should already be correctly adjusted. The recommended level is 0.3 – 0.6 mg/l. Check the chlorine level regularly and set the dosage concentration via the regulator screw on the device.
Filling the chlorine dosage feeder
Danger Only use 200g or 500g slow dissolving long life tablets. Never use quick dissolving chlorine tablets. Never mix chemicals together. This can lead to chemical burns or explosions. Never add different types of chlorine, or other chemicals into the chlorine dosage feeder.

- This equipment is not intended for use by anyone (including children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental ability, or with limited experience and / or limited knowledge, unless they are supervised by someone responsible for their safety, or they receive instruction from them regarding the use of the equipment.
- Do not allow children to use this product.
- When filling the device, use eye, and hand protection.
- Do not inhale any chemical vapor.
- Chlorine dosage dispensers are pressurized. Open the lid carefully:
- Turn off the filter pump when doing so.
- Turn the regulator screw to “OFF”.
- Wait for a minute before unscrewing the lid, so that the pressure in the system can fall.
- pen the lid.
- Fill the chlorine dosage dispenser with 200 g or 500 g slow dissolving long life chlorine tablets.
- Close the lid.
- Turn the regulator screw to the desired setting and start the filter pump.
Care in winter
At the end of the pool season, remove the chlorine dosage feeder and empty the water out fully. Dispose of any chemicals responsibly. Rinse the device thoroughly and store in a dry place, free from frost.
