IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Make sure you follow the marked polarity of  batteries when inserting and replacing them.
  • If the unit will be out of use for a longer time, remove the batteries.
  • Do not leave the unit unattended when switched on.
  • When inserting and replacing the batteries the switch must be OFF.
  • Do not allow children or unskilled people to handle the unit. Use the unit out of the reach of these individuals.
  • Use the unit only for the intended purpose specifi ed in the Operating Manual.
  • Before cleaning, assembly and disassembly of the cover switch the unit off and remove the batteries!
  • Do not use abrasive or chemically aggressive substances for cleaning the unit. Clean the blades using the supplied brush. Proceed with caution to prevent an injury!
  • Do not use the unit if it does not operate properly, or if it has been dropped, damaged or exposed to any liquids. Refer the unit to an authorized service center for testing and repair.
  • The unit is suitable for domestic use only. It is  not designed for commercial operation.
  • Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not touch the unit with wet or damp hands.
  • Do not use the unit for shaving and body depilation.
  • Do not repair the appliance yourself. Contact an authorized service center.
    Failure to follow the manufacturer‘s instructions may cause refusal of warranty repair.

NOTE
Prior to using the unit on a particular fabric always test its functionality on a hem, or seamed side. You may adjust the performance by changing the pressure – to avoid damaging the fabric.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Insert 2 batteries AA type in the battery compartment, and replace the cover carefully. We recommend using alkaline batteries.
  2. Put the fabric on a fl at surface.
  3. Switch the unit on, and pass it lightly over the fabric. Do not push in order to prevent damage of main fi bers, and occurrence of holes.
  4. After use switch the unit to the OFF position. If the appliance will be out of use for a longer time, remove the batteries.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

WARNING!
Before cleaning, assembly and disassembly of the cover switch the unit off and remove the batteries!
The surface of the unit may only be cleaned using a wet cloth. Do not use any detergents or hard objects as they may damage the unit’s surface!
After every use empty the lint-removing device, disassemble the foil, and clean the blades with the supplied brush. Proceed with caution when handling and cleaning the unit!Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not submerge it in water!

REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE
Any extensive maintenance or repair requiring access to the internal parts of the product shall be performed by an authorized service center.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

  • Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
  • The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
  • Polyethylene (PE) bags shall be handed over for recycling.

Recycling at the end of the service life:
A symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product should not be disposed of as household waste. It must be taken to the collection point authorized for recycling electric and electronic equipment. By making sure this product is disposed of properly, you will help prevent negative eff ects on the environment and human health that would otherwise result from inappropriate disposal of this product. You can learn more about recycling this product from your local authorities, a household waste disposal service, or in the shop where you purchased this product.
