Thank you for purchasing this TEESA appliance. Please read this operation instruction carefully before use, and keep it for future use. The producer does not take responsibility for damages caused by inappropriate handling and use of the product.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

In order to reduce the injuries or damages, follow basic safety precautions applied when using any electrical device, including the following:

  • Read this instruction manual carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance. Keep the manual for future reference.

  • Before connecting the device to the power supply socket, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.

  • The appliance must be plugged into an earthed electrical socket. If you have to use an electrical extension lead, it must be earthed.

  • Place the device on a flat, stable surface.

  • Clean this device in accordance with the instructions listed in the “Cleaning” section.

  • ALWAYS turn off the device and disconnect it from the mains supply:

    • if it’s not operating correctly
    • if there’s an uncommon voice when using
    • before disassembling the device
    • before cleaning
    • when not in use
  • When you disconnect the power cord of the device, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord/cable.

  • Keep the device out of the reach of children. Do not leave children unsupervised with the product.

  • This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner, and all the safety precautions are understood and followed. Children should not play with this device. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.

  • Fixed power cable may only be replaced at an authorized service point.

  • Keep the device and its cord/cable away from heat, water, moisture, sharp edges, and any other factor which may damage the appliance or its cord.

  • Do not place the appliance in water or any liquid; nor handle/use it with wet or moist hands.

  • Do not use the product for purposes different from those displayed in this operating manual.

  • Do not leave the appliance unattended when it’s working.

  • DO NOT use this device if the cord or the plug is damaged, or the appliance or any of its attachments is broken.

  • Do not use unauthorized accessories.

  • Appliance for indoor use only.

  • The appliance is constructed to process normal household quantities. Not for commercial use.

  • Make sure the power cord does not touch any hot or sharp elements.

  • Do not move the appliance while it is operating.

  • This appliance is suitable exclusively for food preparation. Do not place anything but food in the appliance.

  • Don’t place hot ingredients inside the appliance. Hot ingredients should be cooled down prior to processing in the appliance (max. ingredient temperature is 50°C). Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the bowl as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to sudden steaming.

  • Do not operate the appliance for more than 6 minutes at one time. Allow 10 minutes rest before next use.

  • Always let the appliance cool down to room temperature after each process.

  • Do not exceed the maximum capacity as indicated in this manual for each accessory.
    Follow the quantities, processing time, and speed when using the kitchen machine tools.

  • Switch off the appliance before fitting and removing the attachment.

  • Do not put any accessories containing metal in a microwave oven.

  • Keep your fingers away from moving parts and the opening on the attachment.

  • Do not touch the whisk, beater, or kneading hook while the appliance is in operation.

  • Never touch any moving parts when the device is connected to the power supply. Never stick or use your fingers or any object (for example a spatula) into the device while the appliance is running.

  • If any attachment gets stuck, turn off and unplug the appliance before removing the ingredients blocking the stuck part of the device.

  • If food sticks to the wall of the bowl switch off the appliance and unplug it. Then use a spatula to remove the food from the wall.

  • Always wait until the moving parts stop running after switching off, and then unplug the appliance before lifting the arm of the stand, or opening, disassembling, or removing the parts of any of the accessories from the stand.

  • The device will not start running when the multifunctional head is lifted up.

  • This appliance MUST NOT be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility, as it may lead to damage to the device.

  • Clean the parts and attachments that come in contact with food before first use!

  • Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. Only authorized and qualified personnel may repair this device. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device, never disassemble this product. In case of damage, contact an authorized service point for a check-up/repair.

  • IMPORTANT: In order to ensure children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, etc.) out of their reach. Caution! Do not allow small children to play with the foil as there is a danger of suffocation!

OPERATION

General

  • Before using this device and its accessories for the first time, thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food.
  • Plug in and switch on the appliance ONLY after correctly assembling the accessories.
  • Make sure the device is disconnected from the power supply and the speed control knob is set to OFF (0) before assembling the device.
  • Speed control: Adjust the speed by rotating the speed control knob (from 0 to 6, the higher the number, the higher the speed).
    • 0: off
    • P: pulse

KNEADING/BEATING/WHISKING

  1. Press the release button. Tilt up the multifunctional head. Insert the lid on the head of the device.
  2. Place bowl in bowl base and turn clockwise until bowl locks into place.
  3. Insert bowl attachment onto output shaft and press upward as far as possible.
  4. Turn the attachment counterclockwise, hooking the attachment over the pin on the shaft.
  5. Plug the device into a wall outlet. Select desired speed.
  6. When finished, rotate the speed control to Off (0). Unplug from power supply mains.
  7. Press the release button. Tilt mixer heads up.
  8. Remove bowl attachment by pressing attachment upward as far as possible. Turn the attachment clockwise and pull to remove it.
  9. Remove the bowl by turning the bowl counterclockwise and pulling to remove it.

Notes on using the bowl attachments:

  • Make sure the knob is at 0 positions and disconnected from power supply mains before attaching the whisk, beater, or dough hook.
  • Up to around 1500 g of ingredients can be processed in the bowl.
  • To avoid splashing, always increase speed gradually.
  • Before whisking egg whites or cream, make sure that the bowl and the whisk are dry and free from grease.
  • Suggested processing speed:
    • Hook: 1-3
    • Beater: 2-4
    • Whisk: 5-6

CLEANING

  1. Turn off and unplug the appliance from the power mains before disassembling or cleaning!
  2. Before first use clean the parts that come in contact with food. Those parts can be washed in lukewarm, soapy water.
  3. Never immerse the motor unit in water or put it under running water. Wipe its housing with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  4. Do not use any aggressive detergents to clean this appliance.
  5. Clean the device after each use.
  6. If the accessories have been discolored by food (carrots, oranges, etc.), rub them gently with a kitchen towel dipped in cooking oil and then clean them in the usual way.
  7. Only the bowl’s lid is dishwasher safe. Do not clean any other parts of the device in a dishwasher.
  8. Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the device.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If your device does not work, check below possible causes before contacting the service point.
The device won’t start. Make sure:

  • the device and the accessories have been properly assembled.

  • the multifunction head is locked in a horizontal position.

  • the device is not overloaded. In such a case, it will stop automatically. To restart your appliance, turn the speed knob to the “0” position and remove some of the ingredients.
    Allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes before using it again.

  • the device is connected to power supply mains.

  • if it is not overheated due to prolonged usage. Let it cool down for about 10 minutes.

Unusual noise in the mixing bowl:

  • check if the bowl is properly installed.
  • check if the accessory is properly installed.

If solving the above problems did not result in the proper operation of the device, contact an authorized service point for a check-up/repair. Do not attempt to repair this device yourself.
