Installation Steps:
Step 1:
Open the rear hatch and remove two screws from each taillight using a 10mm
socket. Carefully slide each taillight rearward to remove. Note: It will make
a snap sound when removed. Unplug the connectors and set them aside.
Step 2:
Use a 10mm socket to remove four screws from the bumper cover in the hatch
area. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove two screws from the bumper
cover in the hatch area.
Step 3:
If present, remove the mudguards by removing the four screws securing each
guard with a 10mm socket. Remove the two plastic push rivets located under the
bumper cover near the muffler with a flathead screwdriver.
Step 4:
Remove five plastic push rivets from each side in the wheel well area (three
in the fender trim, one in the wheel well liner, and one under the vehicle).
Pull the bumper cover outward to peel the wheel well liner to the tire. This
will allow hand access to reach inside and release the fender trim from the
bumper.
Step 5:
Carefully pull the trim away from the vehicle enough to remove the plastic
push rivet at the top of the bumper cover on each side of the vehicle. Start
with the outer fender trim and gently pull the fascia away from the vehicle,
working towards the center, unclipping where possible by hand. Firmly pull
rearward to unclip the center attachments. Unplug any electrical components if
equipped.
