Assembly of wing
Place the wing from the side into the recess in the fuselage. Now slide the wing up to the middle of the fuselage. Make sure that the tips of the wing point upwards to the back. Otherwise your model could be uncontrollable. Make sure that the wing is firmly placed in the fuselage and cannot fall out.
Assembly of the elevator
Push the elevator into the back of the fuselage. If the inscripti on „Gliding Mode“ point upwards at the end of the elevator (A), you can perform a gliding flight. If you turn the elevator with the „Gliding Mode“ label down (B), you can fly the model in loops. Make sure that the elevator is firmly attached to the fuselage and that it cannot fall out.
Operation
- Catapult lever to pull back
- Insert rail
- Pull the trigger
Tips
- A glider needs sufficient take-off energy to get to the correct height so that it can generate lift. The optimum result is usually achieved by launching from a high launch from an elevation such as a hill or knoll. With a hand launch, you can generate more required launch energy than with a catapult launch. Hand launching from a height always works best. The model will fly optimally if you launch it slightly downwards against a light wind.
- In looping mode, you have to throw the model with a little more momentum against light wind. In order to achieve a good flight result and a feeling for the model, try different variants of how your model flies best (against the wind, diagonally to the wind, strongly or less inclined, etc…). If the model is broken, we recommend that you repair it with foam or polystyrene glue and a suitable primer or activator. Do not use commercial superglue for this purpose as it can degrade the material.
Attention
- Never use the model near an airport, railway or road. Always keep a safe distance from potentially hazardous and specially protected areas.
- It must be observed that neither persons or animals or other obstacles are within the operating environment.
- The Outdoor-model can only be flown in good weather. Do not fly in rain or thunderstorms.
- Find a place to fly that complies with any laws, and is free from obstacles such as trees, houses and/or other obstacles.
- For safety reasons and in order to achieve satisfactory flight results, sufficient free space must be provided.
- Attention! Wear and tear due to landings on asphalt, stone floors, gravel etc. is not a reason for complaints. Therefore, it is best to use the model on open meadows or other softer surfaces.
