Special safety instructions

The nail gun is intended for nailing and assembling workpieces made of wood, e.g. in connection with building, renovation and packaging using wood. General
The safety instructions below do not take account of every possible situation. Familiarise yourself with how the compressed air tool works and use common sense when working with it. Never use the tool if you are under the influence of alcohol, suffering from a lack of sleep or taking medicine that makes you sleepy, or in any other circumstances that may limit your judgment and/or prevent the safe use of the tool. Nail guns may only be used by persons over 18 years of age. Keep children and spectators at a safe distance during work. The work area must be dry, tidy and sufficient lit, and with good ventilation. Never use compressed air tools in areas where there is a risk of fire or explosion.
Compressed air supply
Compressors and compressed air tools can be dangerous if operated incorrectly. Always observe the manufacturer’s safety instructions! Always remember to drain the compressor tank of water and to clean the air hose filter. Water and contaminants in compressed air can damage tools. Do not allow the compressed air hose to come into contact with sharp edges, heat or oil.
Excessive air pressure will wear tools out faster and can cause dangerous situations. Never connect the tool to a compressed air supply of 120 psi or above. Check the air supply, all hoses, connections, nipples, and adapters, and that clean dry air is being supplied without leaks at the correct pressure before use. NEVER use the air supply and tool if this is not the case! Never use any other pressurized gases, such as oxygen or acetylene. The compressed air system should be fitted with a lubrication unit.
Before use
Always disconnect the air supply before attaching or changing tools or accessories. Check that the tool is not switched on before connecting air hoses. Use Always use respiratory protection equipment and safety goggles when using compressed air tools in dusty environments, as they can cause dust to swirl around. Compressed air tools can generate sound levels in excess of 85 dB(A). If this is the case, always use ear protectors. Wear personal protective equipment such as work gloves and safety footwear when using the compressed air tool. Do not wear loose-fitting clothing, loose hair, jewelry, etc. that may get trapped in the moving parts of the tool. Always maintain a firm grip on compressed air tools during use, to avoid dropping the tool in the event of sudden unexpected movements.
Never point the nail gun at yourself or others. NEVER hold your finger on the trigger unless you intend to fire a nail. NEVER press the safety switch in when the ail gun is not in contact with the workpiece! f the gun discharges nails into the air, it can result in serious injury or material damage. : heck for concealed power cables, pipes, etc. n the items, or surface, you are going to nail o avoid hitting them with the nail gun. Do not use the nail gun close to the edge of the surface you are nailing, as the brads can misfire and fly/ricochet freely. Never use the ail gun to drive in nails on top of other nails! Always use the correct type of nail in the nail gun. Always be aware of the location of the hose. Sudden changes in pressure in the hose cause it to move with sufficient force o knock over people and objects, possibly: causing injury or damage. Always ensure the hose is not lying where people could easily rip over it. Never lift or carry compressed air tools by their hose. Always hold the tool itself. Disconnect the tool from its air hose when of in use.

Use
Loading nails
Be sure that the nail gun is not connected to the compressed air supply. Press the magazine trigger (4) and open the magazine(5). Insert the required number of nails in the magazine. The points must point downwards and the nails should be pushed forward by the feeder. Close the magazine. Check that it clicks into place and cannot be pushed to one side without pressing the release.
Setting nail depth
Connect the nail gun to the air supply, and be sure that the air pressure supply is correct. Use the pressure setting button on the air supply (h) to adjust the depth the nail is to be driven into the item. Check the depth is correct on a piece of scrap wood before using on the item.
Firing the nail gun
Load the nails required and set the depth as described above. Grip the handle (1), place the gun on the item so that the safety switch (6) is depressed and press the trigger (3) to fire a nail. Release the trigger. Do not press the nail gun too hard. Disconnect the nail gun from the air hose after use.

Cleaning and maintenance

Clean the tool with a well-wrung cloth after use, and always keep all surfaces clean. Make sure that the safety switch is free of dirt and foreign matter. If the compressed air supply does not mix lubricating oil in the air, lubricate the tool with oil via its compressed air nozzle (2) every 1-2 hours of operation. Apply a couple of drops of oil to the nozzle, connect the tool to the hose and run it for a few seconds to lubricate it. Lubricate the tool with 4-5 drops of oil by the same method after use. Check regularly that all parts of the tool (seals, magazine, trigger, etc.) are in good condition and get them replaced if not.
