Special safety instructions
General
Air nailers may only be used by persons over 18 years of age. Always use the
correct type of nail in the air nailer. Never use compressed air tools in
areas where there is risk of fire or explosion.
Compressed air supply
Compressors and compressed air tools can be dangerous if operated incorrectly.
Always observe the compressor manufacturer’s safety instructions! Always
remember to drain the compressor tank of water and to clean the air hose
filter. Water and contaminants in the compressed air can damage tools. Do not
allow the compressed air hose to come into contact with sharp edges, heat and
oil. Excessive air pressure will wear out tools faster and can cause dangerous
situations. Never connect compressed air tools to a compressed air supply with
a pressure of 120 PSI or above. Check the air supply, all hoses, connections,
nipples and adapters and that clean air is being supplied at the correct
pressure and without leakages before use. NEVER use the air supply and tool if
this is not the case! Never use any other pressurized gas sources, such as
oxygen or acetylene. The compressed air system should feature a lubrication
device.
Before use
Always disconnect the air supply before removing or switching tools or
accessories. Check that the tool is not activated before connecting air hoses.
Use
Always use a face mask and protective glasses when using compressed air tools
in dusty environments, as these tools can raise dust. Compressed air tools in
use can generate noise levels in excess of 85 dB(A). If this is the case,
always use ear protectors. Always maintain a firm grip on compressed air tools
during use, to avoid dropping the tool due to sudden expected movements. Never
point the air nailer at yourself or others. NEVER press the safety switch in
when the gun is not in contact with the item! If the gun discharges nails into
the air, it can result in serious injury or material damage. Check for
concealed power cables, pipes etc in the items or surface you are going to
nail. Do not use the air nailer close to the edge of the surface you are
nailing, as the brads can misfire and fly/ricochet freely. Never use the air
nailer to drive in brads on top of other brads! ! Always be aware of the
location of the hose. Sudden changes in pressure in the hose can cause it to
move with sufficient force to knock over people and objects, which can cause
injury or damage. Always ensure the hose does not lie in a place where you
could easily trip over it. Never lift or carry the compressed air tools by
their hose. Always grip the tool itself. Disconnect the tool from its air hose
when not in use.

Use
Loading nails
Be sure that the air nailer is not connected to the compressed air supply.
Press the magazine trigger (4) and open magazine(S). Insert the required
number of nails in the magazine. The points must point downwards and the
feeder should push the nails forward from behind. Close the magazine. Check
that it clicks into place and cannot be pushed to one side without pressing
the release.
Setting nail depth
Connect the air nailer to the air supply, and be sure that the supply air
pressure is correct. Use the depth pressure setting button on the air supply
(h) to adjust the depth the nail is to be driven into the item. Check the
depth is correct on a piece of scrap wood before using on the item.
Use
Load the nails required and set the depth as described above. Grip the handle
(I), place the gun on the item so that the safety switch (6) is depressed and
press the trigger (3) to fire a nail. Release the trigger. Do not press the
air nailer too hard. Disconnect the air nailer from the air hose after use.
Troubleshooting
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the tool with a slightly damp cloth after use and always keep all
surfaces clean. Make sure that the safety button is is free of dirt and
foreign matter. If the compressed air supply does not mix lubricating oil in
the air, lubricate the tool with oil via its compressed air nozzle every 1-2
hours of operation. Apply a couple of drops of oil to the nozzle, connect the
tool to the hose and let the tool run for a few seconds to lubricate it.
Lubricate the tool with 4-5 drops of oil using the same method after use.
Check regularly to make sure that all parts of the tool (gaskets, magazine,
trigger, etc.) are in good condition, and replace them if not.
