How can I activate pairing mode on my Samsung AKG headphones

  • Open the case after 5–6 seconds have passed.
  • The Bluetooth pairing mode will be automatically entered by the earphones.
  • Put them in your ears and hold both touchpads for a few seconds

  2. More than 7 seconds should be spent simultaneously pressing and holding the POWER and/or buttons.
  3. The blue indicator flashes four times.
  4. The headset has been returned to its default settings.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The active noise cancellation feature in most headphones often causes some degree of eardrum pressure – how would you rate these?
Far less pressure than Bose QC35 II. Less than Sony XM3s or XM4s. If ANC is your priority, go with those. If great sound quality with functional ANC is your priority, go with these. They sound much better than Bose or Sony.

  • Can these be used on a Samsung TV?
Yes, if you have the newer Samsung TV that has Bluetooth capabilities. If not, then you may have to purchase a Bluetooth receiver, and plug it into the Audio Out Port in the back of the TV. Then you can connect the AKG headphones to a Bluetooth receiver. That’s what I did and the sound was great.

  • Is the headphone jack on the left or right side?
The power button and jack are on the right side and the volume buttons are on the left. Hope this is helpful. I am enjoying the headphone. They were included when I bought the phone.

  • My power button rattles with head movement. Is anyone else having the same issue or are mine defective?
My power button does not rattle. I’m wearing the headphones as I type this, and hear nothing beyond the program that is playing when I move my head.

  • Can the ANC be turned off through a button?
Yes, and no. There is a pass-through button that allows you to hear voices, announcements, people talking with you, etc., while dropping the volume of the music. But the ANC cannot be turned off and still listen to music at full volume. It’s adaptive ANC, which adjusts to the sound level of your surroundings.

  • Why won’t my Bluetooth earbuds charge?
Check your headphones’ charging port for any damage, such as bent metal or connections. Additionally, check to see whether the port feels tight when you touch it, since this can indicate that the connections have come free from the headset.

  • How are AKG headphones reset?
Remove the headphones’ charging cable from the device. For 10 seconds, press and hold the power button. When the LED light starts to blink, your headphones have been successfully reset.

  • How will I know when my wireless earbuds are fully charged?
The red indicator light will be on during charging to show that charging is taking place. The indication light will turn blue after charging is finished, at which point you may take the charger out of the device.

  • Is the battery user-replaceable? And if so, how much is it?
Well, they sell replacement batteries so the battery must be replaceable. From what I can see the price is around $50 on eBay and Amazon. I’ve had my AKG N700 headphones for 2 years now and the charge will still last nearly a full day. I’ve been very pleased with these headphones.

  • How do these fit vs. the Samsung level over-ear headphones? are they smaller, larger, same, etc.
I’ve never owned the Samsung over-ear model to compare it to, but from trying other brands, I would say they are smaller and a snug fit. I actually use the Samsung earbuds + more because of outdoor activities, e.g. 5 miles around a lake near me. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

  • With the noise canceling on can you still hear a whisper tone (low volume) of your surrounding environment such as a car approaching you?
    Yes

  • Does this support multipoint connection?
Yes, it does support multipoint connections That said. It’s not implemented as well as, say Jabra’s multipoint though. For example, when if I’m listening to music on my personal phone and answer a call on my work phone, it takes a few seconds to actually switch devices. Also when I finish the call on my work phone, it does not resume music automatically on my personal phone. I know that’s a bit nit-picky, but it makes a difference when you used ti other headphones that have better implemented multipoint connections.
