Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you will enjoy using the
appliance.
Read the instruction manual and the separately enclosed safety instructions
very carefully before using this appliance. Keep these documents, including
the warranty certificate, receipt and, if possible, the box with the inner
packaging in a safe place. If you pass the appliance on to a third party,
always include all the relevant documents.
Symbols in this Instruction Manual
Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to
comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage
to the appliance:

This warns you of dangers to your health and indicates possible injury
risks.
CAUTION:
This refers to possible hazards to the appliance or other objects.
Intended Use
This appliance is intended for chopping food that can be cut. It is not
suitable for stirring or mixing liquids.
Do not operate the appliance without contents.
The appliance is intended for processing household quantities.
It is intended for use in household and similar applications.
It may only be used in the manner described in these operating instructions.
You must not use the appliance for commercial purposes.
Any other use is considered improper and may result in damage to property or
even personal injury.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use.
Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from the package.
- Remove all packaging material such as films, filler, cable ties and cardboard.
- Check the delivery contents for completeness.
- Should the package contents be incomplete or damages be found, do not take the appliance into operation. Take it immediately back to the dealer.
- Dust or production residues can be located on the appliance. We recommend to clean the appliance as described under “Cleaning”.

Important Notes for the Use of the Appliance
CAUTION:
- The motor drive of the appliance is equipped with a safety switch. Do not manipulate the safety switch!
- Be aware that the blades can be damaged by crushing ice cubes.
- Do not overfill the appliance.
- The appliance is suitable for short-term use for a maximum of 20 seconds. Let it cool down for approx. 2 minutes before using it again.
- After 5 processing cycles, allow the appliance to cool down for cool down for 15 – 20 minutes.
Preparations
- Prepare the dish. Use the table below as a guide.
- Place the rubber ring on a flat work surface. Place the container on the rubber ring.
Assembling the Appliance
Whether you use only one or both blades depends on the quantity and
consistency of your food.
- If you want to use both blades, assemble them before placing them in the container. To do this, look at the illustration B on page 3.
- Carefully pull off the blade guard.
- Place the blade with the long shaft on the bolt at the bottom of the container. The bolt at the bottom of the container guides the blade. Always insert the blade first. Only then fill in the food.
- The protective cover is fitted with a sealing ring. Check that the sealing ring is properly seated before each use.
- Put on the protective cover. The shaft of the tool must now protrude through the hole in the protective cover.
- Place the motor housing on the protective cover. Pay attention to the recesses in the protective cover.
Electrical Connection
- Check that the mains voltage you want to use matches that of the appliance. You will find the information on the type plate.
- Insert the mains plug into a properly installed earthed socket. If the appliance does not switch on, check that the motor housing, the protective cover and the blade are correctly fitted.
Operation
The multi-shredder has a push-button operation. The motor runs as long as you
keep the switch pressed.
Level I = low speed
Level II = high speed
You can achieve pulse operation by pressing and releas-ing the respective
switch at intervals.

You can also crush ice cubes:
- Use one or two blades depending on the desired consistency of the ice cubes:
- One blade = coarser ice pieces
- Two blades = finer ice pieces
- Fill the container with max. 500 g of ice cubes.
- Press the switch repeatedly very briefly. The ice cubes are crushed more evenly and you can better determine the grain size.
Cleaning
WARNING:
- Make sure that the mains plug is disconnected after use and before any cleaning!
- Never immerse the motor housing in water for cleaning. It could cause an electric shock or fire.
- The cutting surfaces of the blades are sharp. There is a risk of injury! Handle them with the necessary care!
CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Clean the motor housing with a dry cloth without any additives.
Container, Protective Cover, Blades and Rubber Ring
CAUTION:
- Do not clean these parts in the dishwasher. The surfaces could become dull.
- Do not fill the container with boiling water.
- Clean these parts in warm rinse water with a little hand dishwashing liquid.
- Rinse with clean water and dry the parts with a dry cloth. Storage
- Clean the appliance as described and allow the accessories to dry completely.
- For storage, attach the blade guard!
- We recommend storing the appliance in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for a long period of time.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
Troubleshooting
Appliance is without function
Remedy:
Check the mains connection.
Other possible causes:
Your appliance is equipped with a safety switch. It prevents the motor from
starting unintentionally.
Remedy:
Check that the motor housing, the protective cover and the blade are correctly
seated.

This will contribute to the recycling and other forms of
re-utilisation of electrical and electronic equipment.
Information concerning where the equipment can be disposed of can be obtained
from your local authority. Your dealer and contractual partner is also obliged
to take back the old appliance free of charge.
