Avantco 194CGF900 Countertop Glass Froster Chiller Warning and Safety
WARNING: This product works with liquid CO2 only, do not use other compressed gas cylinders with high pressure or non-liquid CO2. A liquid CO2 cylinder with siphon tube is recommended for effective delivery of liquid CO2. A non-liquid CO2 cylinder may be used if the tank is inverted (turned upside down). Install this product in a well-ventilated area to assist in venting excess CO2.
Set-Up and Operating

Select bracket for installation, unscrew clamp and fit clamp over work surface, tighten down
NOTE: The extra bracket in the box is specific for use in underbar refrigeration where there is minimal area below the countertop for standard bracket. You can replace the bracket by unscrewing the bolts inside the clamp, that attach it to the froster unit. -
If desired to operate the LED lights, visit the “replacing batteries instructions” section

Place steel wire for connection hose around the CO2 tank

Add rubber seal rings to inside of connection hose nut, then connect to CO2 tank

Tighten using hands, then use a wrench to tighten it.
NOTE: do not overtighten -
Slowly open CO2 tank, ensuring no leaks in the system, then fully open CO2 tank

Press down on the glass froster head to ensure equipment is operational
Replacing Batteries
NOTE: 2 AA batteries are required to use the LED lights. The unit does not require the batteries or use of LED lights.
- Remove top access cover on the glass froster
- Locate the battery harness, and if applicable remove and dispose of old batteries
- Replace with compatible AA batteries in the battery harness
- Return the batter harness to original position
- Return top access cover to glass froster
- Press down on glass froster head to ensure LED functionality
Replacing CO2 Cylinder
When frosting time exceeds 10 seconds, this is an indication that it is time to change the cylinder.

Close the shut-off valve of the CO2 cylinder

Press the head of the glass froster until all excess pressure is released

Loosen the nut on the CO2 cylinder and remove the CO2 cylinder

Replace with full CO2 cylinder

Place steel wire for connection hose around the CO2 tank

Add rubber seal rings to inside of connection hose nut, then connect to CO2 tank

Tighten using hands, then use a wrench to tighten it.

Press down on the glass froster head to ensure equipment is operational
Troubleshooting
Issue : Remedy
- Long frosting time:Replace the CO2 tank with a full tank
- Not frosting at all:Replace the CO2 tank with a full tank
- Lights not working: Replace worn batteries with new AA batteries
