Warning : The negative speaker lead should NOT be grounded, otherwise it will damage the radio!
WARNING!
To connect the unit, use ISO connectors only. If your vehicle isn’t equiped
with an ISO connector, please use the provided ISO loom cable.This prevents an
incorrect wired connection. Damage caused by faulty wiring: warranty will be
void.
DAB ANTENNA INSTALLATION

Antenna connection
Connect the DAB antenna correctly according to the wiring diagram as described on the page to the left. -
Station search and automatic storage
Press the [MOD] button (4) to switch to DAB mode. After the switch to DAB mode upon first energizing, the system will automatically search and store. If not or if you want to re-scan, long press the [BND/AMS] button (5) to start the search. When the search is completed, it will start playing the first active station. -
Playback DAB+ stations
After a full search the 18 strongest stations automatically will be stored in the three DAB bands. Six presets on each band. To recall the stations, switch between DAB1, DAB2, DAB3 using the [BND/AMS] button (5) and use [7 / 8] buttons (6/7) to switch between 1~6.

| Description of the functions
---|---
Power| Power function to activate or deactivate the unit. Hold the button for
3 seconds to deactivate.
Band| Band selection allows you to select different reception bands, f.i. FM1,
FM2 and FM3 or DAB1, DAB2 and DAB3
Seek up/down| Press to search automatically to the next radio station > Long
press to switch to manual search mode
Menu| The Audio menu button gives you the possibility to adjust your sound
system with the following options: STEREO / MONO > DX / LOC > CHANNEL / STEP
(auto. seek / frequency by steps)
Mode| The mode button allows you to go from one source to another source (f.i.
Tuner) by pushing the button as many times as needed.
AMS| In FM and DAB mode it will automatically store the strongest stations
(M1-M6). Note: all previous stored stations are lost.
Rotary volume| This knob allows you to adjust the volume from minimum to
maximum level. NOTE high sound levels may cause damage to your ears.
Track down/up| In MP3 mode press this button to go up or down one track
fast forward/backward| Long press to fast forward to the USB or SD.
3,5mm AUX jack in| To connect an external audio system.
USB poort| When inserting a USB stick the unit will switch to USB mode (Max
32GB).
SD card input| When inserting a SD card the unit will switch to SD mode (Max
32GB card).
Reset| Use a non-metallic pointed object to press and hold the reset button
for 5 seconds. The unit will be set to factory default.
Bluetooth| Open Bluetooth by pressing the “MOD/CLK” button

Pairing| Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone, and search for available
devices. Select “RMD033DAB-BT”, password “0000” (if necessary). If succesfull
“Linked BT” is displayed.
Reconnect| The unit will normally auto-reconnect.
Answer incoming call| Press the button to answer the call.
Reject incoming call| Press the button if you not wish to answer the call.
A2DP Audio streaming| Go to BT MUSIC-mode using ”MOD/CLK” button. Start
playing music on your mobile device. The (2x), and buttons on the
headunit can be used to operate your mobile device.
Note! Do not operate the unit while driving!

This device is designed for mobile 12V applications and should also be used as such. Use only in cars with a 12V volt negative ground.

Maintenance.
When there is a problem, turn the unit immediately off and contact your authorized Caliber dealer. -
Product cleaning.
Use a soft dry cloth for periodic cleaning of the product. For more severe stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else has the chance of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic. -
Temperature.
Be sure the temperature inside the vehicle is between 0°C (+32°F) and +45°C (+113°F) before turning your unit on.
