Otter Products OBFTC-0104-A Hardline Series Charging Station
PRODUCT SAFETY & GENERAL INFORMATION:
The OtterBox Hardline Series Charging Station is designed for optimal charging of OtterBox Hardline Series mobile solution (Certified Solution). Charging Stations are available in single-bay or four-bay configurations.
- For indoor use only – do not operate in hazardous environments.
- Recommended setup in a well-ventilated area, ambient temperature of 68°F (20°C) to 86°F (30°C). Full operating range: 32°F (0°C) to 95°F (35°C).
- Charging times increase outside of recommended operating range.
SETUP
Plug AC cord into charging station then into AC outlet. LEDs will blink to confirm power and readiness to charge.
WIRELESS CHARGING
- Slide the Certified Solution onto the charger, place the notch on the center post and wait a few seconds for the LED lights to glow red. If incorrectly aligned, it blinks to alert you.
- Typical charge time is approximately 3-4 hours. When done charging, the LEDs turn off. Verify charge level by pressing the power button on the Certified Solution.
- Note: ensure nothing is between the tablet and charger, including straps, mounts and metal objects.
LED BEHAVIOR
- LEDs illuminate when the device is charging. They will turn off when the device is not charging.
- LEDs flash continuously when there is a charging error, such as an obstacle between the tablet and charger.
- When an error is indicated, remove the tablet from the stand and wait for the LEDs to stop blinking. Ensure there are no obstructions of the charging area. Replace the tablet on the stand.
FOUR-BAY CHARGING CONFIGURATIONS
- Each bay works independently. When one device is full, others keep charging.
- If one bay has an error, follow instructions above to clear error for only that bay.
FCC COMPLIANCE STATEMENT:
This Certified Solution complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is
subject to the following two conditions: (1) this Certified Solution may not
cause harmful interference, and (2) this Certified Solution must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by OtterBox could
void the user’s authority to operate the Certified Solution. This Certified
Solution has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This Certified Solution generates, uses, and can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not used in accordance with these
Operating Instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this Certified Solution does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined
by turning the Certified Solution off and on, the user is encouraged to try to
correct the interference by increasing the separation between the Certified
Solution and the television or radio. FCC RF EXPOSURE COMPLIANCE:
This Certified Solution complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth
for an uncontrolled environment. This Certified Solution should be operated
with minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.
ISED COMPLIANCE STATEMENT:
This Certified Solution contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s licence- exempt RSS(s). Operation of the Certified Solution is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This Certified Solution may not cause interference; and (2) This Certified Solution must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the Certified Solution.
IC RF EXPOSURE COMPLIANCE:
This Certified Solution complies with RSS-102 radiation exposure limits set
forth for an uncontrolled environment. This Certified Solution should be
operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.
