PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
- The WX-4 controller is compatible for use with Switch™ & Windows PC
- It can be connected via Bluetooth or alternatively through a wired USB connection
- It includes both motion control and rumble functionality
- Using the built-in Lithium lon battery, it will give an estimated 10 hours playtime.
- Full ergonomic design supporting a more comfortable gaming experience
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Reset to factory default mode
Use a paperclip or a safety pin to reset the controller. Insert and press
the Reset Button on the rear of the controller.
Firmware update instructions
- Please visit www.Gioteck.com/Firmware
- Select WX4 Wireless from the list of controllers
- Follow the on-screen instructions, and click on “Download Latest Firmware”
SETUP CONTROLLER
Connecting to Switch™ (via Bluetooth)
- In settings, select the “controllers” icon
- Select the Change Grip/Order
- Press the Y and key until the mode LED lights up. The controller will then automatically connect to the Switch™
- After successful connection, you will see the controller highlighted in user 1/2/3/4
- Finally, press the key to return to the home screen
Shock adjustment
Press and hold the key, and press or can made shock to increase or decrease
Connecting to Switch™ (via wired USB)

Dock the Switch™ console into its base / stand, and then connect the controller via the USB cable.
The controller will automatically connect to the Switch™ -
After removing the controller from the Switch™, the controller will revert to utilizing a BT connection automatically.
Use for windows PC (via wired USB)
Connect the controller via USB connection. Press the home button.
Use for windows PC (with Bluetooth)
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on the computer (or with a BT adapter).
- Press the Y and key until the mode LED turns on.
- Select “Add Bluetooth device” on your PC and select “Bluetooth” from the available drop down. You will see “Pro controller” available in the options. Select this and wait for Windows to setup the device.
- If there are any issues when connecting via Bluetooth please ensure you have updated the firmware at www.gioteck.com/firmware and follow online guide.
- If a password is required, please input 0000 or 12334.
Auto connect function
Whilst the controller is off, Press and hold the key, it will automatically connect back to the last connected device
Turbo function
For use with the following buttons: A, B, X, Y, L, ZL, R, ZR can use turbo functions
- Press and hold the key that you want to set the turbo function, then press the key
- If you want to disable the turbo key, follow the previous step
After the controller is turned off, the previously selected “turbo” button will be cancelled. If you wish to re-set the turbo mode, then you will need to repeat the initial step.
LED CONTROL
The controller features customisable LEDs. The default setting has the LEDs
auto-cycle all colours.
To adjust the LED colours or turn LEDs off:
- Check the controller is powered ON (see ‘pairing the controller’ section).
- Ensure rear “Off/On” switch is set to the Off position.
- Press the “set” button on the rear of the controller. Each press of the button advances the colour mode.
- After cycling through all colours, the last setting is OFF.
- Pressing the “set” button again when the LEDs are OFF will restart the cycle again.
PROGRAMMING THE CONTROLLER
- Ensure rear “Off/On” switch is set to the “On” position.
- Press and hold “Set” button for 3 seconds until the LED on the front of the controller flashes repeatedly.
- Whilst the LED’s are flashing, press the chosen “command” button (such as “Y”) once.
- Now press the chosen “function” button on the back of the controller once.
- The LED will stop flashing, and this will have successfully mapped your chosen “command” button to the “function” button.
- To remove the “command”, press and hold the “set” button for 6 seconds.
BATTERY POWER
- When powered off: Plug in to charge. 4 LED’s will flash during charging process. All lights will be turned off after the controller is fully charged.
- When connected: When the device is switched on, the LED’s will initially flash when charging and will remain permanently on to indicate when the controller is fully charged.
- During low power: LED’s will flash to indicate low power.
If the controller has no power, it can take up to 2 minutes to charge enough to indicate normal charging is in progress
TURNING OFF THE CONTROLLER
- Hold the home button for 5 seconds to manually turn the controller off.
- When attempting to connect, if the controller fails to connect to a device within 30 seconds, it will automatically turn itself off
- The controller will allow 60 seconds for BT pairing before requiring the process to be restarted.
- If no keys are pressed within 5 minutes, the controller will turn itself off
COMMON PROBLEMS
Q: Why can’t | connect to the Switch™?
A: Please ensure your Switch™ is not in flight mode.
Q: Why can’t | connect via Bluetooth on my PC?
A: There may be an issue with your BT adapter. If this fails, please
connect via USB cable.
Q: Why won’t my controller charge?
A: Please press and hold the small reset button on the back of the
controller for 3 seconds.
Then give a full charge to the controller (2 hours). This should reset the
battery.
Some games are designed specifically for the Joy-Cons and therefore rumble and
motion control may not work using this controller.

GBB warrants to the original consumer purchaser that the product will be free
of defects in materials and/or workmanship for the length of time specified in
the warrant period from the date of purchase, this being one (1) year. If a
defect covered by this warranty occurs during the warranty period,
GooodBetterBest at its option will repair or replace, at no charge, any part
that GoodBetter- Best determines to be defective.
This warranty shall not apply if the product has been damaged by abuse,
misuse, negligence, accident, modification, tampering or by any causes
unrelated to defective materials and/or workmanship. Repair or replacement as
provided under this warranty is Good Better Best exclusive prerogative. In
order to obtain warranty services under certain circumstances (particularly
when the retailer will not accept the return of the defective product), you
may be required by GBB to return the product directly to GBB in the United
Kingdom for inspection and evaluation, along with evidence of purchase
(including the price paid and the date the item was purchased], for a
determination of whether the warranty applies. IF you have been asked by GBB
to return the product to GBB in the United Kingdom, and the product is
defective and covered under the applicable warranty period, GBB shall provide
the appropriate warranty services.
If the warranty does not apply (either due to misuse, damage, negligence etc,
or because the warranty period has expired}, you may be charged to return the
product to you (if you instruct us to do so). Any applicable implied
warranties, including warranties or merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose, are hereby limited to the length of time specified in the
warrant periods below, beginning from the date of purchase and are subject to
the condition set forth in this limited warranty.
In no event shall GBB be accountable for incidental damages resulting from the
breach of any express or implied warranties. You may have different or
additional legal rights, including longer warranty periods, which vary from
jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain
limitations on how long and implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations
may not apply to you. In addition, consumers have the legal rights under
applicable national legislation governing the sales of consumer goods. Such
rights are not affected by the warranties set for herein, except to the extent
allowed by law.

Use and handling
- Before use, check that there is plenty of space around you.
- When using the controller, grip it firmly and make sure it cannot slip out of your hand.
- If using a controller that is connected to the SWITCH system with a cable, make sure that the cable will not hit a person or object. Also take care to avoid pulling out the cable from the SWITCH system.
Exterior protection
Follow the instructions below to help prevent the product exterior from
deteriorating or becoming discolored.
- Do not place any rubber or vinyl materials on the product exterior for an extended period of time.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the product. Do not use solvents or other chemicals.
- Do not wipe with a chemically-treated cleaning cloth.
Charging the controller
With the SWITCH system turned on or in rest mode, connect the controller to
the console using the cable.
Battery life and duration
- The battery has a limited lifespan. Battery duration will gradually decrease with repeated usage and age. Battery life also varies depending on the storage method, conditions of use and environmental factors.
- Charge in an environment where the temperature range is between 10 C -30. Charging may not be as effective when performed in other environments.
When not in use
- When the wireless controller is not used for an extended period of time, it is recommended that you fully charge it at least once a year to help maintain battery functionality.
When disposing of the wireless controller
- The lithium-ion battery of the wireless controller is recyclable. When disposing of the wireless controller, remove the battery and follow local regulations regarding disposing of batteries.
Caution
- Remove the battery in a location out of the reach of small children to help prevent accidental swallowing of small parts such as the screws.
- Be careful not to hurt your nails or fingers when removing the controller casing.
- For safety reasons, attach tape or a seal on the metal part of the battery before disposing.
NOTICE
Other than when disposing of the wireless controller, never remove the screws and never remove the battery from the wireless controller.
SAFETY

Do not handle damaged or leaking lithiumlon batteries.

If you come into contact with material from a leaking battery, take the following actions:
If the material gets into your eyes, do not rub, instead, immediately flush your eyes with clean water and seek medical attention.
If the material comes into contact with the skin or clothes, immediately rinse the affected area with clean water. Consult your physician if inflammation or soreness develops. -
Avoid prolonged use of this product. Take a break at about 30-minute intervals.

Stop using this unit immediately if you begin to feel tired or if you experience discomfort or pain in your hands or arms during use. If the ondition persists consult a doctor.

This product is intended for use with your hands only, do not bring it into close contact with your head, face or the bones of any other part of the body.

The vibration function of this product can aggravate injuries, do not use the vibration function if you have any ailment or injury to the bones, joints, or muscles of your hands or arms. You can turn on or turn off the vibration function from (Settings) on the function screen.

Permanent hearing loss may occur if the headset or headphones are used at high volume. Set the volume to a safe level. Over time, increasingly loud audio may start to sound normal but can actually be damaging to your hearing. IF you experience ringing or any discomfort in your ears or muffled speech, stop listening and have your hearing checked. The louder the volume, the sooner your hearing could be affected. To protect your hearing:
Limit the amount of time you use headset or headphones at high volume.
Avoid raising the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
Lower the volume if you can’t hear people speaking near you. -
Do not stare at the light on the controller when it is blinking, if you experience discomfort or pain anywhere in or on your body from light stimulation, stop using immediately.

Never disassemble or modify the product.

Do not expose the product to high temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight.

Do not allow the product to come into contact with liquids.

Do not put heavy objects on the product.
-
Do not throw or drop the product or subject it to strong physical shock.

Do not touch the ports or insert any foreign objects into them.
