SPECIFICATION
Model No.: ………………………………………………………… FG001
OPERATION
4.1. Always inspect the gun before use to ensure it is not damaged. If in
doubt do not use the gun and contact your Sealey Stockist.
4.2. Shake can vigorously for 30 seconds prior to installing onto foam gun.
4.3. Make sure the gun basket is perfectly clean and apply some petro-jelly or
light grease to the inside of the gun basket area. This helps prevent foam
from curing to the basket and gluing the can onto the gun.
4.4. Screw the cartridge onto the gun’s adaptor until it is tight. DO NOT
over-tighten as this may cause damage to the threads.
4.5. Pull the trigger to start the foam flow, this may be regulated by the
bead size adjuster until the desired foam bead is achieved
4.6. Release the trigger and tighten the size adjuster to lock the needle in
the closed position, to prevent accidental discharge when the gun is not in
use.
4.7. Always store the gun with the can attached in the normal use position.
4.8. Replace empty cartridges as soon as possible to avoid the hardening of
the foam in the gun.
4.9. To re-use, simply shake the foam can vigorously for 30 seconds.
4.10 When the cartridge is emptied unscrew it out of the foam gun socket.
Clean possible dirt with cleanser and screw new cartridge in.
MAINTENANCE
5.1. If the gun is not to be reloaded it must be cleaned as soon as possible
after the cartridge has been removed to avoid hardening of the foam inside the
gun.
5.2. Once the foam has become hard solvents will not necessarily dissolve all
residues.
5.3. Always ensure all foam is released from the gun before cleaning.
× DO NOT use water to clean the gun.
5.4. Only clean the gun with recommended cleaning solvents, any other solvents
may damage the gun.
5.5. Leave the solvent in the gun for 2 minutes. Release the solvent by
pressing the trigger and repeat this process until the solvent runs clear and
shows no trace of foam. Unscrew the regulating knob and remove the needle,
clean the needle with nonabrasive cleaning solvent.
NOTE: – hardened foam will damage the needle. Remove the front nozzle
with a set screw wrench and check the nozzle for hardened foam. Clean as
necessary with an appropriate solvent.
