**INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
**
DENTAL BONDING VIDU is an adhesive with outstanding adhesion to dentin and
etched enamel. It improves adhesion between the composite and tooth surface.
INDICATION:
DENTAL BONDING VIDU is used to improve the adhesion of composites on enamel
and dentin. Further, it improves the adhesion between glass-ionomer underfill
(lining) cement and composite fillings (“sandwich technique”).
APPLICATION:
The cavity should be prepared according to the rules for the adhesive filling
technique. Depending on the situation, apply calcium hydroxide paste or an
underfill (lining) cement in deep cavities.
The enamel is etched, rinsed, and then dried in accordance with the etch
bonding technique.
The glass-ionomer cement filling should not be etched, only roughened.
Once the prepared cavity is dry, 1-2 drops of light-curing DENTAL BONDING VIDU
are dripped onto the mixing pad (immediately reclose the bottle) and a thin
layer is applied to the tooth using a brush or foam pellet. Excess material is
removed using a dry brush or a pellet. The material is then cured using
halogen light (15 sec.).
SIDE EFFECTS:
Undesirable side effects are extremely rare if the product is prepared and
used properly. Should you become aware of any undesirable side effects,
including in cases of doubt, please notify us, giving as precise a description
of the attendant circumstances and symptoms as possible.
WORKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Ensure that the working instructions and precautionary measures described in the supplied product information are always strictly observed. Should the patient suffer undesirable reactions or any other unwanted incidents arise even though these instructions were observed, then please inform us and give a precise description of the accompanying circumstances.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not use DENTAL BONDING VIDU in the area of the pulp.
STORAGE/SHELF-LIFE:
3 years, store in a cool, dry place.
