These models are powered by Hikvision. It’s compatible and able to connect
with third-party devices via ONVIF protocol. (As long as the third-party
device is ONVIF compatible).

Reset the Camera
We highly recommend rest the camera before installation. Steps:
-
Power on the camera properly.
(You can power it on with PoE NVR/Switch, or extra power adapter 12V1A) -
Unscrew camera housing with the screw provided.
-
Press and hold the reset button until you see the infrared light turns on.
-
It will restore all parameters to default settings.
X: When working with Hiseeu 4K PoE NVR system, NVR will activate the camera and auto-connect it. Plug and Play, no need for configuration.
Activate Camera
The camera needs to be activated by setting a strong password before use. This part introduces camera activation using different client tools.
Activate via SADP
SADP is a tool to detect, activate and modify the IP address of the camera
over the LAN.
Before You Start

Get the SADP software from the official website, and install the SADP according to the prompts.

The camera and the PC that runs the SADP tool should be within the same subnet.

The following steps show how to activate one device and modify its IP address
Steps:

Run the SADP software and search the online devices.

Find and select your device in on line device list.
-
Input new password (admin password) and confirm the password.
Cautions
STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED-We highly recommend you create a strong password of your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system, resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product. -
Click Activate to start activation

Enable “Guarding Vision” Service.
Steps: -
Check “Hik-Connect” to enable “Guarding Vision” APP/PC Client remote access.

Create “Verification Code”, it’s required when you add device to “Guarding Vision” (APP and PC Client)

Status of the device becomes Active after successful activation.

Modify IP address of the camera.
-
Select the device.
-
Check Enable DHCP , or change the device IP address to the same subnet as your computer by modifying the IP address manually
-
Input the ad min password and click Modify to activate your IP address modification.
Access Camera
This part introduces how to access the camera via Web browser.

Before You Start
Check the system requirement to confirm that the operating computer and web browser meets the requirements.

Steps:

Open the web browser.

Input IP address of the camera to enter the login interface.
(You can find the camera’s IP address by SADP tool, refer to page 4) -
Input user name and password.
NOTE:
Illegal login lock is activated by default. If admin user performs seven failed password attempts (five attempts for user/operator), the IP address is blocked for 30 minutes.
If illegal login lock is not needed, go to Configuration ➔ System ➔ Security ➔ Security Service to turn it off. -
Click Login.

Configuration via Web Browser
All the settings that the camera offers can be adjusted by accessing it via a
web browser using the IP address.
Enable ONVIF
If you want add the camera to third-party NVR, please check “Enable Open
Network Video Interface” (ONVIF), and create ONVIF user name and
password
Reset Camera via Web Browser
Navigate to Configuration➔ System➔Maintenance➔ Restore/ Default
Restore: Reset all the parameters, except the IP parameters and user
information, to the default settings.
Default: Restore all parameters to default settings.
Operate via Mobile Client
Guarding Vision is an application for mobile devices. Using the App, you can view live image, receive alarm notification and so on.

Enable Guarding Vision Service on Camera
Guarding Vision service should be enabled on your camera before using the service. You can enable the service through SADP software or Web browser. -
Enable Guarding Vision Service via SADP Software
This part introduces how to enable Guarding Vision service via SADP software of an activated camera.
Steps: -
Run SADP software.

Select a camera and enter Modify Network Parameters page.
-
Check Enable “Hik-Connect”.

Create a verification code or change the old verification code. & NOTE:
The verification code is required when you add the camera to Guarding Vision service. -
Click and read “Terms of Service” and “Privacy Policy”.

Confirm the settings.
Enable Guarding Vision Service via Web Browser
Follow the following steps to enable Guarding Vision Service via Web Browser.
Before You Start:
You need to activate the camera before enabling the service.
Steps:

Access the camera via web browser.
-
Enter platform access configuration interface. Configuration ➔ Network ➔ Advanced Settings ➔ Platform Access.

Select Guarding Vision as the Platform Access Mode.
-
Check Enable.
-
Click and read “Terms of Service” and “Privacy Policy” in pop-up window.
-
Create a verification code for the camera.
NOTE: The verification code is required when you add the camera to Guarding Vision service. -
Save the settings.
The “Register Status” should become “Online” after enabled “Guarding Vision”.
Add Camera to Guarding Vision (APP)
Before you start:
-
Download and install the Guarding Vision app by searching
“Guarding Vision” in App Store or Google Play. -
Launch the app and register for a Guarding Vision user account.

Connect your mobile device to a Wi-Fi. {Should be within the same subnet with the camera)
Steps:

Log into the Guarding Vision app.

In the home page, tap”+” on the upper-right corner, select “Online Device”
The device under same network will be detected, select the device and tap on “Add Device to Guarding Vision Service”
If you tap on “Add”, will be only able to remote access it within same WLAN. -
Input verification code, not password. (Refer to page 5), add camera according to the prompts.

You also can add the camera by scanning the QR code on camera body.
(If the QR code is missing or too blur to be recognized, you can add the camera by inputting the camera’s serial number.)
Operate via PC Client
Before You Start:
-
Get the Guarding Vision software from manufacturer, (Please email us at Love@Hiseeu.com) and install the Guarding Vision according to the prompts.
Steps:- Run the Guarding Vision software
- Create a super user name and password.
- Setup security questions
- Login after registration
- Login in with Your APP Account
- Navigate to “Main View”, the device you added on the APP will sync automatically
- Stream Key is the “Verification Code” , not password. Input the code you created when you enable “Hik-Connect” (Refer to Page 5)
Add Camera to NVR
Add camera to Hiseeu 4K PoE NVR Steps:
- Connect the camera to Hiseeu 4K PoE NVR PoE port via network cable
- Ensure camera is powered on properly
- Reset the camera by pressing the camera reset button. (Refer to page 1)
- Navigate to MenuCameralP Channel
- NVR will activate the camera and auto connect it After configuration, the camera’s User Name is admin, Password: same as NVR.
Add camera to third-party NVR
Before You Start:
- Ensure the NVR is ONVIF compatible and support 4K video input.
- Ensure camera is activated via SADP tool (refer to page 4)
- Ensure camera ONVI F is enabled (refer to page 11)
Steps:
- Modify the camera’s IP, make it as same as NVR’s subnet if the NVR’s address is 192.168.2.1, then the camera should be in the same format (for example 192.168.2.100). Or if the NVR’s address is 10.0.0.1, then the camera can be set on 10.0.0.100. To the camera’s IP address has to match NVR’s network.
- Input correct user name and password during configuration
