Connection
Please test the camera before installation.
- Connect Cameras to NVR box by CAT5e Ethernet Cable provided.
System Wizard

Hit “No more hints” to exist system wizard.

Mobile APP name is “XMeye”, you can scan the “APP” QR Code to download it or go to
Google Play/APP store to download it.
System Login

The default password is blank (no password)

If you don’t want to set “Security Question”, please reboot the NVR by press the ON/OFF button.
Internet Connection
- Please connect NVR box to Router via Network Cable;
- Right-Click Mouse Navigate to Main Menu > Network > Enable DHCP;
- After that, please go to “Net Service”, if the “Cloud Status” shows online, means NVR is online and ready for remote access.
※ If the “Cloud Status” shows “Probing DNS”, please reboot NVR device by press ON/OFF button. If the problem remains, please contact the vendor.
How to set up a video record?
24/7 Video Record
Please right-click the mouse navigates to Main Menu > Record Conf.
Tips:
① You can customize schedule recording based on your needs
② Default Setting is for Channel 1, hit “Advanced” > ”Copy”, Copy the settings
to other channels.
Motion Detect Recording
Please right-click mouse navigates to Main Menu > Alarm > Intelligent Alert >
Tick of “Enable”.
Tips:
① The device will be only recording when motion detected.
② Please Tick off “Mobile Reported” if you need an alert push to Mobile APP.
Default Setting is for Channel 1, hit “Advanced” > ”Copy”, Copy the settings
to other channels.
How to playback video?

Right-Click Mouse, hit “Playback”, Or go to Main Menu > Playback

Select Channel, Period, date, then click “OK”
Green:
Regular Recording
Red: Alarm Recording
How to backup video?

Insert your USB Device to NVR’s USB port.

Right-Click Mouse, navigates to Main Menu > System > Backup.

NVR will Detect available USB device. Click “Backup”.If your USB Device didn’t show up, click “Detect”.

Select Record Type > Select Channel > Set the Time > Click Add
Select the video Files> Choose Backup format > Start.
Please choose “MP4”, it’s compatible with most of video player.

Add new camera or replace defective camera

Please connect the camera to the NVR box via Ethernet cable, make sure the camera and NVR are powered.

Right-click mouse > Quick Set (Normally NVR will be configuring automatically)

If your camera still not connected, please manually add it as below.
a) Click “Search”, NVR will search camera with same IP segment, then select the new the camera’s IP address
b) Select an empty Channel for the new camera (for example #5), then click “Add”
c) After configuration successful, click “Apply” to save settings then click “Exit” -
Restore to Factory Setting
Please right-click mouse navigates to Main Menu > Advanced > Restore.

Remote Access on Mobile Device
Download Mobile APP “XMeye” from “Google Play” or “APP Store”.

Open the APP and follow on-screen instructions to register an account by your email.

Click “+”to add device > Advanced.

Click the “Scan” icon to Scan NVR’s QR Code. (Navigate to Main Menu > AdvancedVersion)

Input your NVR login password.
Remote Access on PC Client
Please contact vendor for PC Client download Link and video instruction.

Download PC Client “VMS” and installed.

Remain the default User Name and Password. Click “SIGN IN”.

Navigate to “Device Manager”.

What’s the warranty?
All of our products with a 2-year warranty, any difficulties please contact the vendor.
How to modify the NVR password?
Please Right-Click Mouse Navigates to Main Menu > System > Account > Modify Password.
What should I do if I forget my password?
Please Click Forget Password > Forget Answer, you will get the “CAPTCHA” QR code. Open the mobile APP “XMeye”, click “+” icon > Forget Your Device Password (FIND PWD). Scan the “CAPTCHA” QR code, you will get a super passcode.
Do I need a monitor to operate the system?
Yes. Please connect the NVR system to your monitor via the HDMI provided. (Laptop and All in 1 PC is not supported)
Can the system working without internet?
Yes. Internet is only necessary when you need to remote access the system from a mobile APP or PC Client. (In this situation, need to hook up NVR to the router via Ethernet Cable provided)
It’s wireless system or wired?
It’s PoE Wired security camera system, Not wireless, Not WiFi, Not Battery. NVR needs to be plugged in all the time, and all the cameras need to connect to the NVR box via the Ethernet cable provided( no need additional power supply).
How to extend to 16 channels?
The NVR has 8 PoE ports but max can take up to 16pcs 4K PoE cameras. You can connect 8 more cameras to a 8 ports PoE Switch(Not Included) and hook up PoE Switch to NVR box, NVR will detect and recognize the camera.
How to remote access from APP?
system has to be connected to internet constantly for the app to connect. download XMeye PRO app on google or apple store . login and connect . there is a manual on hiseeu website
Is the video stored only on the NVR, or is there a cloud storage option also?
At present, the video files of the camera are only stored on the hard disk temporarily, and cloud storage is not supported
Does this come with power supply that works in usa?
Yes
Do the camera’s have to be wired?
Yes. You must run the supplied cat5 Ethernet cable to each camera.
How do you factory reset the cameras?
Right click the mouse>Main Menu>Advanced>Restore
Is the system compatible to Qsee poe cameras?
the system is compatible with ONVIF enabled device, please make sure the camera is onvif supported.
Will this ptz camera work with this system? (hikvision compatible) inwerang hd 1080p outdoor/indoor poe ip ptz 2mp dome security camer?
yes, it’s compatible, our NVR is onvif supported,
Will this system support adding a 2tb or larger sata ssd?
Max can support 6TB

What type of cat cable does it comes with? And does higher rating provide better video?
