Install Tips

In order to complete this installation, please ensure you have both the Samsara hardware and Thermo King  hardware parts needed. Depending on your reefer model and year, you will need either an REB iBox or a BlueBox  with the respective 3rd party compatible harnesses from Thermo King. Models 2018 and newer will have a  Blue Box pre-installed in the reefer. Please confirm you have the 3rd party compatible harness. For models prior  to 201 8, you may have an REB iBox with a harness that can be used. If not, please consult with your Thermo King  dealer to procure the necessary Thermo King hardware. For any questions regarding which Thermo King parts  are needed please refer to the Model Compatibility Guide or your local Thermo King dealer.

Reminder for models with a BlueBox, you will need to contact Thermo King support at tracking support@  thermoking.com, or work with your local Thermo King dealer with your Blue Box serial number and IMEI to  request that your BlueBox be remotely reconfigured to iBox mode. This will enable Samsara to communicate  with your reefer unit.
