SNES / SFC
For 8BitDo Bluetooth Conrtrollers
- Motion controls, rumble are not supported.
1. Press pair button on the Retro Receiver, LED starts to blink rapidly.
2. Power on 8BItDo Bluetooth control ler to enter Its pairing mode.
3. LED becomes solid when connection is successful.
For Switoh Pro controller
• NFC scanning, IR camera, HD rumble, notification LED, player indicator are not supported.
1. Press pair button on the Retro Receiver, LED starts to blink replay.
2. Press Switch Pro’s SYNC button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode
(this is required for the very firsttime only).
3. Wait until Retro Receiver’s LED is solid and Switch Pro’s #1 LED stays on.
- Controller will auto reconnect with the press of any button once it has been paired.
For DualSense
- Motion controls, rumble, adaptive triggers, analog triggers, touch pad are not supported.
1. Press pair button on the Retro Receiver, LED starts to blink rapidly.
2. Press CREATE + PS button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode (thie is
required for the vary -first time only).
3. LED becomes solid when connection is successful.
- Controller will auto reconnectwith the press of nonce it has been paired.
For DualShock 4
- Motion controls, rumble, adaptive triggers, analog triggers, touch pad are not supported.
1. Press pair button on the Retro Receiver, LED starts to blink rapidly.
2. Press SHARE + PS button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode (this is
required for the very first time only).
3. LED becomee solid when connection is successful.
- Controller will auto reconnect with the press of PS once it has been paired.
For DualShack 3
- Motion controls, rumble are not supported.
1. Visit https://support.8bitdo.com/receiver-usb-adapter-tools-for-ps3.html
to download and run PS3 pairing tool.
2. Hold down the pair button on the Retro Receiver and connect it to PC via
USB, LED starts to blink.
3. Connect your DualShock 3 to PC via USB.
4. Once the Retro Receiver and DualShock3 are both connected, click “Pair”
button in the software.
5. Once pairing is complete, insert your Retro Receiver into your console.
6. Press PS button to connect.Waft until the Retro Receiver’s LED la solid
and DuelShock 3’s #1 LED stays on.
- Controller will auto reconnect with the press of PS once it has been paired.
For Xbox One Controller/Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2
- Xbox Series X/S controller is not supported.
- Rumble is not supported.
1. Press pair button on the Retro Receiver, LED starts to blink rapidly.
2. Press Xbox button to turn on the controller, then press pair button for 3
seconds to enter its pairing mode.
3. LED becomes solid when connection is successful.
For Wii Remote Controller
- Support Wii Classic controller connected to the Wii Remote controller.
- Motion controls, rumble, player indicator are not supported.
1. Press pair button on the Retro Receiver, LED starts to blink rapidly.
2. Press Wii Remote’s SYNC button to enter its pairing mode (this is required
for the very first time only).
3. Wait until the Retro Receiver’s LED is solid end Wii Remote’s #1 LED stays
on.
- Controller will auto reconnect with the press of POWER button once Rhos been paired. Button mapping OINES/SFC Controller) o-pad Start (p)
For Wii U Pro Controller
- Motion controls, rumble, player indicator are not supported.
1. Press pair button on the Retro Receiver, LED starts to blink rapidly.
2. Press W11 U Pro’s SYNC button to enter its pairing mode (this is required
for the very rst time only).
3. Wait until the Retro Receiver’s LED is solid end Wii U Pro’s #1 LED stays
on.
- Controller will auto reconnect with the press of POWER button once it has been paired.
For Nintendo Switch Joy-Con
- NFC scanning, IR camera, HD rumble, notification LED, player indicator are not supported.
- Only one Joy-Con can be connected, hold horizontally.
1. Press pair button on the Retro Receiver, LED starts to blink rapidly.
2. Press Joy-Can’s SYNC button for 3 seconds to enter its pairing mode (this
is required for the very find time only).
3. Wait until Retro Receiver’s LED is solid and Joy-Con’s #1 LED stays on.
- Controller will auto reconnect with the press of any button once it has been paired.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Note: Xbox Bluetooth controllers on the latest firmware released in Sep, 2021 are NOT supported any longer, due to their bluetooth change from Classic to BLE.
*Other products which are affected by this change also include: USB Adapter, USB Adapter for PS classic, NES Receiver, SNES / SFC Receiver, Classic Receiver & MD Receiver.
How many controller can this receiver connect to at a time?
One controller at a time. If you wish to use 2 controllers at a time, you would need to use 2 receivers.
Can I use two receivers on the same device? If so, do they interfere with each other?
Yes, you can. No, they do not interfere with each other.
What controllers is this receiver compatible with?
It works with Xbox One S/X Bluetooth controllers, Xbox Elite 2 controller,
DS4, DS3, Switch Pro, JoyCons (including NES and FC versions), Wii U Pro, Wii
remote, as well as all 8BitDo Bluetooth controllers.
*Models which are not mentioned above are not compatible with this receiver.
What systems does this receiver work with?
It works with original SNES and Windows 10.
What is the Micro USB port on the receiver for?
For receiver firmware upgrade and using it on PC.
What is the Bluetooth range?
10 meters. This receiver functions the best within the range of 5 meters.
Does it work with Bluetooth speakers, keyboards and mouses?
No, it does not.
