Introduction
HMS field connector is designed for the situation where a PV system only has one microinverter.

Assembly
- A) Separate the connector Separate the connector into the connector body, cover, gasket, claw, and nut.
- B) Set the parts on the cable Set the parts on the cable according to the order of 1→2→3→4.
- C) Strip the cable Strip the outer jacket of the cable end to a length of 25±3 mm.
- D) Crimp the ferrule Push the stripped wire end into the ferrule through the plastic collar and crimp the bootlace ferrule tightly, ensuring the ends of the A are flush with the end of the B.
- E) Loosen screws Loosen tight screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
- F) Insert wires Insert the L, N, and PE wires into the connector body in accordance with the labeling, and tighten the screws (torque: 0.2-0.3 N·m).
- G) Attach the cover Push the cover into the connector body until hearing a locking “click”.
- H) Insert the gasket Insert the gasket into the cover.
- I) Secure the claw and nut Push the claw and nut into the connector body according to the order of 1→2. Then firmly tighten the nut with a torque wrench (torque: 2±0.5 N·m).
- K) Connect to microinverter Connect the HMS Field Connector to the output connector of the microinverter until it clicks into place. If needed, use Hoymiles disconnect tool to disconnect connectors.
- L) AC cable connection Place the AC cable into a plug and make the connection to the socket.
