Instructions for installation and putting the appliance into operation (pic. B-K)
Appliance to be used on a level, stable and non-flammable surface. Never use the appliance near open fire or flying sparks or similar high-flammable substances!
-
The appliance may only be used with propane or butane.
-
Connect the gas hot air turbine as specified in pic. B-F.
-
All connectors to be checked for gas detection using lye soap or leak detection spray. (pic. F+G)
-
Plug the appliance (pic. G)
-
Position “I”. The gas hot air turbine only runs with the fan function and provides air circulation in the room. (pic. I)
-
Position “II”. The gas hot air turbine is now also heating (pic. J). However, the appliance is only started when the required temperature (pic. K/12) is set higher than the actual temperature (pic. K/11) (room temperature).
-
Electronic control: Pic. K/11 shows the room temperature. Use the thermostat (pic. K/8) to control/set the required temperature – see the indicator (pic. K/12).(The gas hot air turbine is automatically switched on and then switched off when the required temperature is reached).
Example of use:
“II” (pic. J) 15°C actual temperature (pic. K/11)
20° temperature required (pic. K/12).
The gas hot air turbine is now able to heat the “space” to 20°C and then is automatically switched off. If the appliance remains in the emergency position, the gas hot air turbine is automatically switched on when it is below the required temperature. -
If the controller (pic. K/8) is set below the actual room temperature shown on the digital indicator (K11), the appliance also gets switched off.
Example of use: 18°C actual temperature (pic. K/11) 15°C temperature required (pic. K/12). The gas hot air turbine now gets switched off. If the appliance remains in the emergency position, the gas hot air turbine is automatically switched on when it is below 15°C.
The indicator (K/4) lights up in case of failure or when the gas bottle is
empty.
Press Reset (pic. K/6) and put ON/OFF to “0” or change the gas bottle and
connect it as specified in pic. B+F. The gas hot air turbine can now be
switched on again as specified.
Switching off (pic. L-M))
To switch the gas hot air turbine off, close the gas bottle valve (pic. L)
first at all times.
Switch the appliance off by ON/OFF (pic. M). To the position “0”.
To unplug the appliance, disconnect the plug (pic. M).
Changing the gas bottle
- When outdoors and in a safe distance from any fire or flammable sources and with no persons around proceed as follows!
- Close the gas bottle valve. (E/1)
- Unscrew the pressure reducing valve (pic. B-D in the reverse order).
