Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Downloading and Installing the Firmware Update
- Download both folders from the provided link to your Windows PC.
- Extract the downloaded files to a new folder on your Windows PC.
- Install the updater software by double-clicking the SETUP file.
- Complete the software installation by following the on-screen prompts.
Step 2: Preparing the Installer to Update Your Speakers and Subwoofer
- Locate and run the Multimedia Product Tool.
- Select the correct *.fw firmware file for the device (Speaker or Subwoofer) and choose to replace without modifying presets.
Step 3: Updating Speakers and Subwoofer
- Connect the speaker to your PC using a Type-C DATA cable.
- Turn on the speaker and tap the POWER button 15 times quickly to initiate the update.
- The down arrow icon will illuminate green when the connection is established.
- Select the DOWN ARROW to install the firmware update. The installation process takes about 20 seconds.
Troubleshooting:
- If the speaker is not connecting to the software, ensure you are using a Type-C DATA cable and repeat the power button tapping process.
- If you can’t pair your source device after the update, look for the new Bluetooth ID name “Rocksteady_XXXX” to connect.

- The speaker is not connecting to the software (the install down arrow does not turn green indicating a connection):
- If the speaker is not connecting to the software, repeat the process of taping the power button 10-15 times (in other words… try again). If it still won’t connect, then it is likely that your Type-C cable is not a DATA cable.
- You can’t pair your source device to the speakers after the firmware update.
- The Bluetooth ID name of the speaker will change after the firmware update. You will need to pair to this speaker and connect to the new device name (Rocksteady_XXXX).
