Warranty
Tigo Energy Warranty – Labor Reimbursement
This Labor Reimbursement Program (“Labor Reimbursement Program”) is offered by Tigo Energy, Inc. (“Tigo”) to certain installation professionals (“Installers”) who incur labor costs related to the replacement of certain defective Tigo products covered by Tigo’s Limited Warranty. The Labor Reimbursement Program shall be applicable only to photovoltaic solar systems installed in the United States or United States Territories (including Puerto Rico). Additionally, if any supply agreement or similar long-form agreement between Tigo and an Installer exists which expressly provides for any reimbursement of labor or service costs, the terms of such agreement shall govern and this Labor Reimbursement Program shall not apply to such Installers.
The Labor Reimbursement Program shall offer Installers two-hundred fifty U.S. dollars ($250) for each truck roll to a site for the purposes of removal and replacement of eligble Tigo products.
The following Tigo products are eligible for the Labor Reimbursement Program: TS4, add-on TS4-A, Cloud Connect Advanced, Access Point, RSS Transmitter, EI Inverter, EI Battery, EI Battery Management System, Automatic Transfer Switch and Energy Meter. To be eligible for the Labor Reimbursement Program, such Tigo products must have been purchased directly from Tigo or from an authorized seller of Tigo. The Labor Reimbursement Program does not apply to components which are separate from the Tigo products listed, including, but not limited to, cables, fuses, wires and connectors, whether supplied by Tigo or others.
Each of the following conditions must be met, as determined by Tigo in its sole discretion, in order to obtain reimbursement pursuant to this Labor Reimbursement Program:
- The Installer must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) from Tigo pursuant to Tigo’s then-current RMA procedure in advance of the applicable truck roll;
- The date of such truck roll must be within the first two (2) years of the completion of the commissioning for the relevant solar system, as evidenced by proper documentation;
- All Tigo products capable of being monitored must have been monitored by the Tigo Monitoring service; and
- The Installer must submit the request for reimbursement (including all required documentation) within ninety (90) days of the truck roll.
All installation and removal of Tigo products must be performed only with tools approved by Tigo, and the defective products must be returned in either the original shipping container or other packaging that is equally protective of such products. The Labor Reimbursement Program may be modified at any time in Tigo’s sole and absolute discretion. The terms of this Labor Reimbursement Program shall be subject to Tigo’s Commercial Terms and Conditions, including, without limitation, the provisions thereof which relate to governing law and jurisdiction.
