Description
EBS The Drive is an analog boost/overdrive pedal developed by EBS with input from several Swedish top session guitarists. It is designed to provide an extra boost to your tone and make it stand out. The Drive can be used with both guitar and bass and helps boost the bass tone when engaged. The DRIVE knob controls the input gain/drive level, allowing you to bring out vintage- style bass tones or keep it subtle for a cleaner boost. The TONE knob shapes the tone range of the effect from darker to brighter, while the VOLUME knob sets the output volume of the pedal. The pedal features a relay type footswitch for switching it on and off.

Usage Instructions

Powering the Pedal

  1. Connect a power supply that provides stabilized 9-12V DC with a standard 2.1mm contact, center negative to the POWER SUPPLY INPUT.
  2. Alternatively, you can use a 9V DC battery. Remove the bottom plate of the pedal and attach a 9V DC battery.

Connecting the Pedal

  1. Connect your instrument or the previous device in your signal path to the INPUT jack.
  2. Connect the output of the pedal to your amplifier or the next device in your signal path.

Adjusting the Settings:

  1. Use the DRIVE knob to control the input gain/drive level. Higher drive levels will increase the overall output as well.
  2. Use the TONE knob to shape the tone range of the effect from darker to brighter.
  3. Use the VOLUME knob to set the output volume of the pedal.
