Product Usage Instructions
- Assembly:
- Follow the steps outlined in the manual to assemble the car shelter. Ensure all components are securely connected.
- Door Assembly:
- Take one door and place the shower hooks on it.
- Thread the elastic through the grommet hole and attach an S hook over the elastic.
- Squeeze one end tight with pliers. Repeat for the other door.
- Shelter Reinforcement:
- Position the garage in the desired location and close the front and back doors.
- Securely anchor the shelter in place using brackets and nails.
- If applicable, fix the flap to your house.
- Ensure the structure is anchored on a flat, levelled surface such as asphalt or concrete.

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY STEPS
STEPS
- ASSEMBLY OF MIDDLE ARCHES
- a) Take one arch (06-367); assemble with one main corner arch (06-370) on the left side.
- b) Insert the other corner arch (06-370) on the right side.
- c) Take one completed arch; put screw 1¾” (O) through holes on the right side, attach the crossbar (06-368) over screw and tighten wing nut (Q).
- d) Repeat the same procedures on the left side.
- Repeat step 1 for the remaining middle arches.
- ASSEMBLY OF END ARCHES (Wing nuts are always on the inside. See schema)
- a) Take one arch (06-367); assemble with one end corner arch (06-366) on the left side.
- b) Insert the other corner arch (06-366) on the right side.
- c) Take one completed arch, put screw 1¾” (O) through holes on the right side, attach crossbar (06-368) over screw and tighten nut (Q). Repeat same procedure on the left side.
- d) Attach one end of the door rail (06-372 – 06-373) to an end arch (06-366) with one screw 1¾” (O) and wing nut (Q).
- e) Slide the hooks (M) onto door rail, then install the free end over the screw 1¾” (O) and wing nut (Q) and tighten.
- f) Repeat step 3 with the remaining arch.
- g) Place one of the end arches assembled at the front of the shelter, and the other at the back.
- ASSEMBLY OF LEGS
- a) Assemble legs (06-365) with connecting pipes (06-371) on all sections except for the front section with the 2½” screw (P) and wing nuts (Q).
- b) Assemble leg (06-364) with connecting pipe (06-374) and diagonal (06-369) 59¾” with screws 2½” (P) with wing nuts (Q).
- c) Insert leg (06-364) into an end arch (06-366) one side at a time
- d) Repeat step c) until the whole shelter is completed.
- e) Make sure the base is open to 10’8’’, measured from the exterior of the pipes, in front and back (AC, BD)
- f) Verify that diagonal distances AD and BC are equal, and lengths AB and CD are equal.
STEP
- COVER INSTALLATION
- a) Place the cover in front of the completed structure as shown in the schema.
- b) Unfold the cover as shown and place it onto the structure.
- c) The front of the shelter is the side with windows (1 on the left. 1 on the right, if included).
- d) Assemble the roof on the structure making sure that the triangular corner is at the front.
- e) Attach all straps around the structure pipes, going all the way around the garage. Grommets are placed in the upper corner of each door. Put the remaining cord through these grommets and secure to the ground with nails.
- f) Tie inside ties firmly to bars.
- DOOR ASSEMBLY
- a) Take one door and place it the shower hooks.
- b) Pass the elastic through the grommet hole take one “S” hook and put it over the elastic. Squeeze one end tight with a pair of pliers over the elastic. Repeat steps (a) to (b) for the other door.
- SHELTER REINFORCEMENT
- a) Place your garage in the final position you want then close the front and back doors (if supplied). Anchor in place with brackets and nails.
- b) Fix flap to your house (if applicable). The structure has to be anchored on a flat leveled surface as asphalt, concrete, etc. Additional anchors are not included.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
- This product is not warranted against damage caused by wind, falling objects, fire, animals, vegetation, vandalism and extreme weather conditions.
- Collapsed shelter caused by snow, ice and wind accumulation
- The roof must be kept free of snow and ice accumulation at all times.
- Any damage that may be caused by snow and ice build-up will not be covered by the warranty. Snow and ice must be removed from the roof, from right to left, in five-foot (5) sections at a time.
- Removal of snow and ice from the roof must be done from the outside of the car shelter. Doing so from the inside may damage the product and may cause serious injury to the person(s) involved in the removal.
- It is strongly recommended that the product not be placed adjacent to buildings or trees as snow or ice may slide off the roof. If the product is placed adjacent to a building or tree, additional precautions must be taken to ensure that no accumulation of snow or ice could cause excessive weight to the product.
- The product is warranted only if installed per Gazebo Penguin’s written instructions included with the product.
- The product is not warranted if it has been improperly anchored. In particular, the guide wires must be installed as shown. Anchors are not included for these guide wires and are dependent on the soil on which the shelter is installed.
- If the ground is not frozen when the product is installed, in addition to the floor hooks and nails, weights (not included) of at least 300 pounds for each 11’ x 16’ area must be installed.
- Water infiltration through seams is not considered a manufacturing defect.
- This product is not warranted against condensation, which may occur if the product is not installed on asphalt and the ground is not completely frozen at installation.
- The cover/roof must be kept indoors if the outside temperature drops below +45°F/+7°C until it is placed on the frame. Otherwise, the windows may break and such breakage will not be covered by the warranty.
- The covering material of this unit has been treated to resist damage from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. However, it is mandatory that this product be disassembled and stored during the summer months to extend the life of this product.
- The cover/roof must be clean and dry before storage. We strongly recommend that the original box in which the product was delivered be kept for off-season storage.
- Discoloration and normal wear and tear of the cover/roof. The colour of the material may naturally change over time.
WARNING: Car shelter doors should be kept closed at all times, except
when an engine is running, as there is a risk of asphyxiation.
