STEPS
-
CENTER ARCHES
a) Take one center arch (F) and assemble at each end an extension (E). Note that extension (E) has a hole at 6” from one end, this endgoes into the corner arch, not the center arch.
b) At each end of (E), install one corner arch 1 hole (H). Then attach the cross bar (D) with 2 screws 2½” and wing nuts. -
REPEAT STEP 1 FOR THE REMAINING REGULAR ARCHES.

ASSEMBLY OF END ARCHES
a) Take one center arch (F) and assemble at each end an extension (E). Note that extension (E) has a hole at 6” from one end, this end goes into the corner arch, not the center arch.
b) At each end of extension (E), install one end corner arch (G) with 2 holes.
c) Take the completed arch and put screw 2½” (97-486) ) through holes on each side. Attach crossbar (D) to screws and secure with wing nuts (90-019).
d) Take one door rail junction (B) and attach a door rail (A) at each end. Put one screw 1¾” (97-483) at each end of (B) to secure (A) and tighten with wing nut (90-019).
e) Slide the shower hooks (90-015) over the door rail (A) and then install the rail to the corner arches, using a screw 2½” (97-486) and wing nut at each end.
f) Take one door rail holder (C) and put one screw 1¾” to attach with junction (B). Put a 4” screw in the other hole on (C) to attach with center arch (F). Secure with a wing nut.
g) Repeat step 3 with the remaining end arch.
h) Place one of the end arches at the front of the car shelter and the other at the back.
ASSEMBLY OF STRUCTURES
a) Take 2 legs with 2 holes (I) and install them on the end arch.
b) Take 2 legs with 1 hole (J) and install them on the regular arch.
c) Place an end arch upright with the rail door inside the structure and
attach connecting pipes (06-385) at each hole inside the shelter with 4”
screws and wing nuts. . There are 5 pieces of connecting pipe.
d) Add the next regular arch and attach to the connecting pipes (06-385).
Make sure these parts are secured.
e) Once these 2 arches are assembled, place diagonal 59 5/8” (06-369) on
both sides 90° between leg (I) and leg (J). Use a 3½” screw in the upper
hole of leg (I) and lower hole of leg (J). Shift arches if necessary so the
diagonals fit. It will give you a 90° angle
f) Add next regular arch with leg (J) and connecting pipes (06-460) and
assemble to the end of connecting pipes (06-385).
g) Repeat this operation until last arch is installed with the door rail
on the inside.
h) Repeat step e) on the last arches.
i) Add up the rest of the connecting pipes remaining (06-385, 06-460 or
06-371).
j) Make sure your shelter is at square position with a 90º angle front to
back & bottom to top.
k) Make sure the base is open to the shelter’s width, measured from the
exterior of the pipes, in front and back (AC, BD)
l) Verify that diagonal distances AD and BC are equal, and lengths AB and
CD are equal.
COVER INSTALLATION
a) Place cover in front of the completed structure as shown in schema.
b) Unfold the cover as shown and place it onto the structure.
c) The front of the shelter is the side with windows (1 on the left. 1 on
the right, if included).
d) Assemble roof on the structure making sure that the triangular corner
is at the front.
e) Attach all straps around the structure pipes, going all the way around
the garage. Grommets are placed in the upper corner of each door. Put the
remaining cord through these grommets and secure to the ground with nails.
f) Tie inside ties firmly to bars.
DOOR ASSEMBLY
a) Take one door and place onto it the shower hooks (01-357).
b) Pass the elastic through the grommet hole and take one “S” hook and
put it over the elastic. Squeeze one end tight with a pair of pliers over the
elastic. Repeat steps (a) to (b) for the other door.
SHELTER REINFORCEMENT
a) Place your garage in the final position you want then close the front
and back doors (if supplied). Anchor in place with brackets (90-013) and nails
(90-012).
b) Fix flap to your house (if applicable). The structure has to be
anchored on a flat leveled surface as asphalt, concrete, etc. Additionnal
anchors are not included.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
-
- This product is not warranted against damage caused by wind, falling objects, fire, animals, vegetation, vandalism and extreme weather conditions.
- Collapsed shelter caused by snow, ice and wind accumulation
- The roof must be kept free of snow and ice accumulation at all times.
- Any damage that may be caused by snow and ice build-up will not be covered by the warranty. Snow and ice must be removed from the roof, from right to left, in five-foot (5) sections at a time.
- Removal of snow and ice from the roof must be done from the outside of the car shelter. Doing so from the inside may damage the product and may cause serious injury to the person(s) involved in the removal.
- It is strongly recommended that the product not be placed adjacent to buildings or trees as snow or ice may slide off the roof. In the event that the product is placed adjacent to a building or tree, additional precautions must be taken to ensure that there is no accumulation of snow or ice that could cause excessive weight to the product.
- The product is warranted only if installed in accordance with Gazebo Penguin’s written instructions included with the product.
- The product is not warranted if it has been improperly anchored. In particular, the guide wires must be installed as shown. Anchors are not included for these guide wires and are dependent on the soil on which the shelter is installed.
- In the event that the ground is not frozen when the product is installed, in addition to the floor hooks and nails, weights (not included) of at least 300 pounds for each 11’ x 16’ area must be installed.
- Water infiltration through seams is not considered a manufacturing defect.
- This product is not warranted against condensation, which may occur if the product is not installed on asphalt and the ground is not completely frozenat installation.
- The cover/roof must be kept indoors if the outside temperature drops below +45°F/+7°C until it is placed on the frame. Otherwise, the windows may break and such breakage will not be covered by the warranty.
- The covering material of this unit has been treated to resist damage from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. However, it is mandatory that this product be disassembled and stored during the summer months in order to extend the life of this product.
- The cover/roof must be clean and dry before storage. We strongly recommend that the original box in which the product was delivered be kept for off-season storage.
- Discoloration and normal wear and tear of the cover/roof. The color of the material may naturally change over time
WARNING
Car shelter doors should be kept closed at all times, except when an engine is
running, as there is a risk of asphyxiation.
