Product Information
The RS PRO Black Nylon Cable Tie is a one-piece, non-releasable, self-locking fastener that functions like a strap to keep cables organized and tidy. The cable ties are made of black nylon 66 material, which is weather and ultraviolet resistant, as well as flame retardant. They are available in 100mm length and 2.5mm width, with a tensile strength of 78.4N and a maximum bundle strength of 22mm. The cable ties meet the UL 94V-2 standards.
Product Usage Instructions
- Wrap the cable tie around the cable or cables that need to be tied together.
- Insert the pointed end of the tie into the locking head until it clicks into place.
- Pull the tail of the tie until the desired tightness is achieved.
- Cut off the excess tail using a pair of wire cutters or scissors.
- The cable tie can be loosened or removed by cutting it with wire cutters or scissors.
Ensure that the cable tie is not pulled too tightly, as this may damage the cables. The maximum bundle strength should not be exceeded to prevent damage to the cable tie. The cable ties are suitable for use in home/DIY and garden applications.
