Installation
- Use an 8mm drill to drill 4 holes on the mounting wall as per the dimensions shown in Figure 1. The size of plastic anchor is ø8*40mm.
- Insert a plastic anchor into each of the mounting holes and use a rubber hammer to tighten the installation of the anchors.
- Install the mounting bracket to the mounting holes using the M5*45 screws, as shown in Figure 2.
- Put the device down, unscrew the back cover of the column speaker, remove the 4G module to expose the SIM card slot on the main board, push the buckle down (Picture 1) and lift it up (Picture 2), install the SIM card inside the SIM card slot on the mainboard, close the buckle and push it up (picture 3).
- Open the installation package, find the black waterproof connector and unscrew it. Use a screwdriver to loosen the fixing screw on the middle connector.
- Use the output wire of the power supply to pass through one end of the waterproof connector and connect it to the middle connector, tighten the screw with a screwdriver, and mark the red and black wire holes.(Figure 3)
- Use the power cord on the SL50 speaker to pass through the other end of the waterproof connector, connect it to the middle connector, and tighten the screw with a screwdriver.
- ( Note: The brown wire of the speaker has to correspond to the red wire of the power supply; the blue wire of the speaker has to correspond to the black wire of the power supply.)
- Connect the network cable. Open the installation package to find the metal waterproof plug and unscrew it. Use a screwdriver to loosen the fixing screw on the connector.
- Use the network cable to pass through the waterproof plug and connect to the middle connector. The network cable’s #1 and #2 wires correspond to holes #1 and #2, respectively. The network cable’s #3 and #6 wires correspond to the #3 and #4 holes. Tighten the screws with a screwdriver.
- After the waterproof plug is screwed and tightened, install it to the network cable hole of the SL50 speaker.
- Terms: The PG9 two-core waterproof aviation connector, abbreviation: waterproof connector.

- Unscrew the M6 screws of the SL50 speaker, install it on the mounting bracket by tightening the screws.
- To adjust the angle of the speaker, you can rotate it up or down for maximumly 30 degrees, or left or right for maximumly 90 degrees.
- Connect the SL50 speaker to the grounding terminal. If the SL50 speaker is installed with LTE module, please connect the LTE antenna to the antenna terminal.
- Note: It is recommended that the installation height does not exceed 5m.
Web Login And System Reset
Web Login
- Connect network cable and power supply (if PoE is not enabled on the network cable).
- Wait for 30 seconds then press and hold the RST button for 5 seconds and release, it will announce the IP address obtained from the DHCP server. If there’s no DHCP server or DHCP fails, it will use default IP 192.168.1.101. In the browser address bar input the IP address you hear to open its web management interface. Default username and password admin/admin.
System Reset
- To reset factory defaults, press and hold the RST button for 10 seconds (5 seconds for IP address announcements) and release, now you should hear voice prompts “Resetting factory defaults, rebooting…”, it means the speaker will now reset.
- To reset factory defaults, please remove the back plate of the SL50 speaker and use the reset button.
