DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE APP
Caution: The QR code used to download the wireless connection APP in this manual may be different than the QR code that may appear on the side of the unit below the rating plate.
PREPARATION
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to your wireless router. Also ensure that the wireless router is connected to the internet.
- Ensure you mobile device is already connected to the wireless network that you wish to use. Remove any other unused wireless networks from your deivce history to avoid confusion.
- Images in this manual are for instructional purposes only. The actual app may appear slightly different.
DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE APP: Method 1

Android Smart Phone:
Open the Google “Play Store” and search “SmartLife-SmartHome”, download and install the APP. -
IOS Smart Phone:
Open the Apple “APP Store” and search “SmartLife-SmartHome”, download and install the APP.
NOTE:
Please enable the following permissions for this APP when installing to prevent any issues when operating. Storage / Location / Camera / Wireless Connection / Bluetooth
APP ACTIVATION
When first entering the APP, it will display the activation interface. You can activate the APP in 2 different ways.
QR Code
Click the “SCAN” button and scan the QR code below.
Activation Code
Input the “Activation Code” words below then click the “Activate” button.
REGISTRATION
Create Account
- Select “Register”, read the Privacy Policy and User Agreement, tap on “Agree”
- Choose the country by searching or sliding down the screen.
- Enter your E-mail address then tap the button “Get Verification Code”
- Enter the verification code you received in your email.
- Set the Password with 6 – 20 characters including characters and numbers.
- Tap “Done”
Existing Account
- Tap “Log in with Existing Account”
- Enter the registered account and password
- Tap “Login”
Password Reset or Forgotten
- Tap “Forgot password”
- Enter account (E-mail address)
- Tap “Get verification code”
- Enter code received in E-Mail
- Set new password and tap “Done”
ADD DEVICE
- Please power on the appliance, but do not press the button to turn it on.
- The screen will appear as below

Reset Wi-Fi
There are three methods to reset the Wi-Fi module. -
Press the “FAN” button on the control panel 6 times within 4 seconds;

Hold the “ON/OFF” button on the control panel for roughly 5 seconds;

Hold the “Mode” button on the control panel about 3 seconds.
Please wait about 10 seconds, until the LED screen show “CF”, and connect it again. -
Click in the upper right corner of the “Home” screen.
Or Click “Add Device“ in the upper right corner of the “Home” screen. Then choose “Portable Air Conditioner”.

Enter the Wi-Fi password, ensuring it matches the one currently connected to your smartphone, and then proceed by tapping ‘Next’.
Note: Please make sure the “Password” is correct, or the connect will be failure. -
The appliance display will sequentially show the connection progress percentage along with the indicators ‘PP,’ ‘SA,’ and ‘AP’ lighting up.
- PP means “Searching the router”
- SA means “Connected to the router”
- AP means “Connected to the server”

When the Wi-Fi symbol illuminates on the appliance’s control panel, it indicates a successful Wi-Fi connection.

If the wireless connection fails, please try to reset the wireless connection module and connect it again.
Note: Every time reset the Wi-Fi, must wait about 10 seconds.

- The app is not compatible with software versions below 5.0 Android and 10.0 iOS.
- Due to the variables involved in your specific installation, we must advise that not all Android and iOS operating systems will be compatible with the wireless app. We cannot be responsible for any issues resulting from incompatibility.
Cautions
- Due to different network situations, control processes might sometimes return a time out error. If this occurrs, unplug the appliance and plug it back in. If it does not automatically reconnect, you may need to reconnect the appliance to the app.
- Your smart device camera requires at least 5 million pixels to be able to scan a QR code.
- The wireless app is subject to updates without prior notice for functional improvement. The actual network connection process may be slightly different than outlined in the manual. The actual process shall prevail.
