- A: Bumper Rubber Pad – 1 qty
- B: Mounting Bracket – 2 qty
- C: M12 Large Flat Washer – 2 qty
- D: M12x35mm Hex Head Bolt – 12 qty
- E: M12 Split Washer – 2 qty
- F: M8x20mm Hex Head Bolt – 24 qty
- G: M8 Split Washer – 12 qty
- H: M12 Hex Head Nut – 12 qty
- I: 10mm Socket Ratchet – 2 qty
- J: M8 Flat Washer – 4 qty
- K: M8 Hex Head Nut – 2 qty
Product Usage Instructions
- Using a plastic clip removal tool, locate and remove factory clips holding the inner liner onto the factory bumper. Discard hardware. Repeat for the other side.
- Locate and disconnect the wiring harness plug.
- Using a #2 Philip’s head screwdriver, remove factory screws holding the factory grille onto the vehicle.
- Inside the vehicle wheel well, locate and remove factory clips holding the bumper onto the vehicle using a plastic clip removal tool. Repeat for the other side.
- Pull on the corner of the vehicle bumper, working your way up until the vehicle headlight. Repeat for the other side.
- With assistance, remove the factory bumper from the vehicle and set it aside in a protected area.
Cutting Factory Bumper & Installing New Bumper
- Cut the grille off the factory bumper if necessary.
- Place the supplied mounting bracket (B) onto the vehicle as shown, aligning holes with those in the vehicle frame.
- Insert M12x35mm hex head bolt (D) with supplied M12 flat washer (F) through the hole in the mounting bracket and vehicle frame. Secure with a flat washer, split washer, rubber pad, and hex head nut. Tighten using an 18mm socket. Repeat for other side.
- Place the supplied bumper (A) onto the vehicle, aligning holes with those in the mounting bracket.
- Insert M12x35mm hex head bolt (D) with supplied M12 flat washer (F) through the hole in the mounting bracket and bumper. Secure with a flat washer, split washer, and hex head nut. Tighten using an 18mm socket. Repeat for the other side of the bumper.

- This bumper comes complete with LED lights which need to be connected to ae.
- Failure to properly make these connections could result in damage to the LED lights and or your vehicle and may result in personal injury.
- If you are not qualified to make the proper connections, we highly recommend that contact an installation expert to complete the connections.

Removing Factory Bumper
Step 1
- Working underneath the vehicle using a plastic clip removal tool locate and remove 1 factory clip holding the inner liner onto the factory bumperDiscard hardware. Repeat the step for the other side.
Step 2
- Locate and disconnect the wiring harness plug.
Step 3
- Using a # 2 Philip, s head screwdriver locate andremove 3 factory screws holding the factory grille onto the vehicle.
Step 4
- Using a # 2 Philip’s head screwdriver locate and remove 4 factory screws holding the factory grille onto the vehicle.
Step 5
- Looking inside the vehicle wheel well locate and remove 3 factory clips holding the bumper onto the vehicle using a plastic clip removal tool. Repeat steps for the other side.
Step 6
- Using a 10mm socket locate and remove 1 factoryhex head bolt holding the bumper onto the vehicleDiscard factory hardware. Repeat the step for the other side.
Step 7
- Firmly pull on the corner of the vehicle bumper-working your way up until the vehicle head lightRepeat step for the other side.
Step 8
- With help from the assistant remove factory bumper from the vehicle Set the factory bumper aside in a protected area.
Cutting Factory Bumper
Step 1
- In some WJ models, the grille is attached to the bumper
- You will need to cut the grille off the factory bumper as shown above. Using the dotted lines above as a guide to cut, using a cut-off wheelcut the grille of the factory bumper.
Step 2
- Place supplied M12x35m hex head bolt ( D )with supplied M12 flat washer ( F ) through the hole in the mounting bracket and the hole in the vehicle frame.
- Place a supplied M12 flat washer and a supplied M12 split washer ( G ) at the end of the bolt.
- Start a supplied rubber Pad ( C ) and M12 hex head nut ( H ) at the end of the bolt.
- Tighten down the bolt using an 18mm socket. Repeat the step for the remaining bolt.
- Repeat the step for other side-mounting brackets.
Installing New Bumper
Step 1
- Locate and place the supplied mounting bracket ( B )onto the vehicle as shown. Line up the holes in the mounting bracket with the holes in the vehicle.
Step 2
- Mounting brackets will look like this after being properly installed.
Step 3
- Place the supplied bumper ( A ) onto the vehicle. Line up the holes in the bumper with the holes in the mounting bracket.
Step 4
- Place supplied M12x35m hex head bolt ( D )with supplied M12 flat washer ( F ) through the hole in the mounting bracket and the hole in the bumper.
- Place a supplied M12 flat washer and supplied M12 split washer ( G ) at the end of the boltStart a supplied M12 hex head nut ( H ) at the end of the bolt. Tighten down the bolt using an 18mmsocket. Repeat the step for the remaining bolt. Repeat the steps for the other side of the bumper.
Step 5
- Re-install the factory grille back onto the vehicle. Proceed to make electrical connections for the LED lights. If you are not qualified to make the proper connections, we highly recommend that you contact an installation expert to complete the connection.
This completes the installation.
