Important Information
IMPORTANT : Do not rotate new part motor to match shift shaft. The transfer case needs to be in neutral position to install new transfer case motor. Slot in shift shaft points down when in neutral position. Confirm neutral position by turning driveshaft by hand. Driveshaft should spin freely when shift shaft is in correct position. Manually shift transfer case at shift shaft by hand, or using soft-jawed tools if necessary. If shift shaft does not turn, repair damaged transfer case before installing motor.
