MEET THE KEYPAD
INSTALLATION

Install keypad
1. Open the battery cover on the back. 2.Load two AA batteries into the Keypad. Close the battery cover. 3.Screw the bottom screw back. 4. Stick the Keypad on the door. -
Add Keypad in the app
2.1 Download the APP by scanning the QR code, or search “Smart Life” on App Store / Google Play. Create a new account or log in with an existing account. https://smartapp.tuya.com/smartlife
2.3 Select “Auto Scan”, after you find the device, then click “Next”.
2.4 After the device is added, click “Done”. -
Bind Keypad to smart lock
3.1 Select smart lock in the app Click on “ ”
3.2Click “add” ,Select Keypad ,Click “Bind”.
3.3 Click “ ”to add password.
3.4 Kill the APP to break the connection from your phone and lock, so the password can be useful to the lcok.
NOTE| After adding the password, please wait for 30 seconds (or close the APP)
to disconnect the phone from the lock, so that the password can be effectively
used.

After you replaced the battery, the old offline password may not work and you
need to connect the keypad to the APP for one time.
4. Add keypad to gateway
4.1 Select gateway in the APP, then click “ Add device by list”.
4.2 Select the Keypad , and then click “OK”. When the pop-up box is displayed,
select “Immediately to join”.
4.3 The keypad is added to the gateway.
GUIDE FOR USE
1| Unlock/ Lock with password| Firstly, add the password.
Then, kill the APP.
Finally, enter the password to unlock/lock the door.

2| Check battery| Select “Accessories” in the APP to check battery status.
After you replaced the battery, the old offline password may not work and you
need to connect the keypad to the APP for one time.
3| Beep alarm| There will be beeps when the device battery is low, and the
battery needs to be replaced at this time.
4| Unbind device| Firstly, delete the device in the APP, then press “SET”
button nearby the battery case for 5 seconds until you hear a beep, the device
is unbound.
5| One way to unlock
multiple doors| If you need to use one keypad to open multiple locks, first
turn on “multiple” in the keypad settings, and then bind the keypad to
multiple locks.
