Key Coding Instructions:

NOTE: This kit allows you to repin your new lock cylinder to your existing keywithout requiring any specialty tools. Be sure to perform this key coding procedure prior\ to installation.
KEY CODING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Key slot must be aligned with raised indicators. Use a slotted screwdriver to turn key slot clockwise ONLY (when facing key slot opening) until it is aligned with the indicators.
STEP 2:
Check that key can be inserted completely. If it cannot be easily inserted, repeat Step
- Do not force the key into the tumbler assembly or turn it counterclockwise to aid insertion.
STEP 3:
Rotate the key one-half turn (180°) clockwise until you hear a click and stop.
NOTE: If you rotate past click, turn the key clockwise until it is aligned with raised indicators again, as in Step 1.
STEP 4:
Rotate the key one-half turn (180°) counterclockwise until the key and tumbler assembly release.
STEP 5:
Remove the cap from the tumbler shell, then install the tumbler assembly with the key into the vehicle
