  • Before each ride, check that the steering and brake bolts are not loose. There must be no unusual noises, rattling, loose or damaged components.
    BRAKES

  • Check the correct operation of the brakes by pressing the lever. If you find that the four-wheeler does not brake, you need to contact an authorized service center.

FRAME, FORK AND HANDLEBAR

  • Check for cracked joints or broken parts. If you discover any of these defects on your ATV, contact an authorized service center. Do not use the quad in any case!!!

TIRE PRESSURE

  • Check tire pressure (69 kPa / 10–24PSI) and tread condition regularly. Always carry out tire pressure and any re-inflation when cold. In the case of a run-down sample and the need to replace the wheel casing,
    contact the service department.

CONTROLS

The quad bike is controlled only by hands.
RIGHT HAND SIDE

  • Lever / Accelerator – speed is regulated with the right handle.

LEFT SIDE HANDLEBAR

  • On/Off switch. Turn the red switch to the „on“ position

  • Direction switch. The pressed position of the switch means „R“ – reverse driving („R“ will be displayed on the LCD display). The pressed position of the switch means „D“ – drive forward („D“ will be displayed on
    the LCD display).

  • Unlocking parking mode. Press this switch before driving. „P“ (parking) disappears from the LCD display.
Now select “D” or “R” on the drive direction switch and press the gas pedal lever…at that moment the ATV will go into motion.

CHARGING PORT

  • The charging connector can be found at the back of the quad bike in the space between the seat and the engine.

OPERATION

  • Insert the key into the main switch box located on the right under the handlebars and turn to the right to the „On“ position.
  • On/Off switch. Turn the red switch located on the right side of the handlebars to the „on“ position.
  • The pressed position of the switch means „D“ – drive forward („D“ will be displayed on the LCD display).
  • Press the black switch to unlock the parking position. „P“ (parking) disappears from the LCD display. Now select “D” or “R” on the drive direction switch and press the gas pedal lever…at that moment the ATV will go into motion.

ATTENTION

Never flip the switch while the vehicle is in motion.

  • Carefully twist the accelerator (throttle) grip towards you and the quad bike will start moving.
  • Stop by releasing the throttle grip.
  • Use the brake levers to stop immediately
  • right for the front brake, and left for the rear brake.
  • When the brake lever is pressed, the motor is automatically disengaged until the brake levers are released again.
  • The wheels may „throw“ slightly at higher speeds.

RIDING

PROHIBITED!
Failure to follow the following instructions may result in an accident or injury.
Always apply the throttle slowly and smoothly. Rapid acceleration may result in an accident or injury.
BRAKING

  • To stop, release the throttle and press the brake lever. Never brake hard.
  • Do not brake when turning. The quad bike could skid or overturn.

TURNING
The correct turning technique is as follows:

  1. Turn the handlebars in the direction of the turn.
  2. Shift your weight slightly to the inside and on the inner footrest.
  3. Tilt your upper body against the centrifugal force.

Turning at higher speeds:

  •  Use the same technique as for turning at low speeds, just lean more.
  • Since centrifugal forces increase as speed increases, you need to lean your upper body more against the centrifugal force. But remember to keep your weight on the inner footrest.
  • The rider should practice this technique at low speeds in a wide-open area until it is mastered.

SKIDDING / SLIDING

  •  If unintentional skidding or sliding of the wheels occurs under braking, you can use the following techniques.

Front wheels skidding / slipping

  • Try to get front grip by releasing the throttle and leaning forward slightly (shifting your weight forward).

Rear wheels skidding / slipping

  • Steer in the direction of the skid (space permitting), move slightly (shift your weight) away from the skid, and avoid using the throttle or brake lever until you regain full control of the vehicle.

ATTENTION
Skidding and sliding can result in an accident, so the rider should take extra care when driving on slippery surfaces and adjust their speed accordingly.

MAINTENANCE

PROHIBITED!
We strongly recommend that you have your quad bike repaired and replaced by an authorised service centre. If you do it yourself, use only original spare parts. In case of an improperly performed service, the customer loses the warranty provided by the manufacturer!

BRAKE ADJUSTMENT

  • Loosen the adjusting nut and adjust the horizontal stroke of the brake. Keep brake travel between 5–8 mm. Check the brake lining thickness regularly. If the wear exceeds 1 mm, it should be replaced.
Regularly check that the brake fluid level is not lower than min. mark. If so, drain the remaining brake fluid and add new (DOT4 only). If the level is fine and the brakes still do not work, the system needs to be bled, so contact your authorized service center.

DIFFERENTIAL OIL

  • Unscrew the engine gearbox drain screw located in the lower part of the gearbox… fig. 1. Drain the lubricating oil and then tighten the screw again.
Remove the engine transmission fuel hole bolt and add 130ml of lubricating oil… fig. 2. Tighten the screws and check for leaks.

  • Only use gear oil for highly loaded cardan gears, differentials and gear units… oil type: 80W / 90 GL-4 / 465 mlLAMAX eBumbleBee ATV60M Children's Quad Bike - horizontal

TYRE PRESSURE

  •  Check tyre pressure regularly (69 kPa / 10 PSI) and sample status.

CONNECTIONS AND SCREWS

  • Regularly check the tightness of all connections and screws.
